Great glue- and everything else
After several years of being too busy I finally retired and returned to the world of model building. I was away for 3 decades so I was Amazed at the leap in quality, variety, and just plain fun offered today. The glues being used today are so superior to what they once were that it is hard to imagine what I did before. This is just one purchase of one type of glue but I can tell you the quality and ease of use is huge! On a related topic, all of Tamiyas products exceed my expectations from the variety of glue, tools for modelers, instructional materials and all their offerings. The quality and variety of their acrylic paint alone boggles my mind. There are other companies out there such as Vallejo, Ammo, and many others offering outstanding kits that this a golden age for modeling. I was lucky to have been around for the “olden days” of questionable scale details and tubes of thick gummy glue and highly viscous enamel that I can really appreciate the newer stuff. Great job with the glue- and everything else.

Outstanding Product
Outstanding product. After decades of using old Testors (horrible by comparison) on plastic models, this product is smooth, easy use and bonds quickly. Most important, no glue strings! It is a little fumy, so have the window open when you use it.

Amazing for normal-to-large minis, good for tiny ones
With the myriad of plastic adhesives available to miniature painters, it took me trial-and-error and recommendations from more experienced people for me to finally try Tamiya Extra-Thin. I will admit, I was worried that it wouldn't work well with smaller models (the ones that are assembled from contact instead of by slotting together), but it worked very well, with the only difficulty being holding the small model parts firmly together while the cement sets. On normal sized models, this cement is a dream - getting into cracks without having to worry about over-application, while providing strong bonding in roughly 10-15 seconds.I will say that using such thin cement was more challenging with those models, so buyer beware, but the product itself works beautifully. The tiny brush applicator allows for exact placement of the cement, preventing ugly glue spots in undesired areas. From now on, I will sing the praises of Tamiya Extra-Thin to anyone and everyone who will listen, likely to the detriment of my inter-personal relationships. SO yes, I highly recommend Tamiya ET, and you should use this forever.(as other reviewers have mentioned, this product will not work on resin models, so make sure you know your model type before making this purchase)

Very good glue
The glue is very good and yes it’s thin. No big gluppie glob mess here. The cap has a brush attached for easy application. You do not need a lot for it to work well. Dries clear. Be careful as the vapors are powerful, so use in a well ventilated area.

The Emperor's real choice for glue.
This might be the best glue out there for building miniatures. It's quick enough to set it and move on, but slow enough where if you make a mistake you still have time to fix it. It spreads incredibly easy and managing the amount of glue you brush on is as easy as brushing the side of the bottle as you're pulling it out.

The GOAT of Model Glues
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works great for the price. Just make sure you let your items sit for a while before placing more weight on them. This is an essential piece of kit for any hobbyist. I honestly think this might work better than superglue for basic plastic repairs as well. It doesn’t leave that weird crusty feeling on your fingers if you get it on them. Once cured the bond seems to be just as strong as superglue.

works as expected but first package broke in transit
Strong smell of glue when I opened the package. Neck of bottle was broken, brush was detached. About half the glue had leaked out. Amazon gave immediate refund and I reordered same product and it was undamaged.
