This stuff is a life saver when my baby boy is uncomfortable after being unable to burp. Sometimes it just happens and I feel bad having to pat his back for 20 mins straight with no result. Also works well during growth spurts when hes inconsolable.My husband and I use this as a last resort ONLY and dont want to rely on it for him to relax. I use this for my baby when I notice her tummy is uncomfortable. Sometimes it settles down her stomach pretty quick but other times it takes a while. Since you cant put this in the milk I put it in the tip of the bottle nipple after shes done eating and give it to her that way.
