Professional Lighting Gear
Item is a professional 512 light mixer. Works great, high quality build and versatile. Fair price. Directions don't help much, but there are tons of YouTube videos on how to use.

Not Working As Intended
Update: Spoke with their customer service department. Will update the review afterward. Update Review: The customer service team was top-notch. They sent me another one that works perfectly. I love the design and simplicity of the product. All channels work the right attributes, the correct LEDs are lighting up, and the controller works as intended. It is so simple and the design is clean, yet the product itself came defective. I checked my cables and lights to make sure the set-up is correct. Everything is good. The problem is... That the scanners will control the wrong lights and the channels will control the wrong attributes of the light. Like channel 1 is suppose to be intensity or brightness of the light, but for some reason it makes it strobe. I switched lights and cables plenty of time to be sure. Sometimes the right channels work and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the scanners uses the right lights, but most of the time they don't. The design is simple and the look is neat. I have a show coming up soon, so I don't want to toss it.

Good controller for the price.
This thing does what it is supposed to do. I bought directly from the CO-Z store. They sent me a box that had already been opened and then re-taped shut, and the paper user manual was wrinkled and had debris from something somebody set on top of it before they sent it back (which soaked through and affected the second page), but the controller was in good condition and worked as it is supposed to. The sliders have plastic knobs on top that rock back and forth making them feel like they might come free. Easy enough to deal with. The biggest detractor for me is that the buttons click loudly! I am using this DMX controller for lights in my game room (table-top, roleplaying, D&D). As DM I want to change the mood of the room to match the story. When I do it's going to be CLICK, CLICK, CLICK. They're loud metal dome switches... and I have to find a way to muffle them. I hope the seller does something since I got slightly used product, and I wouldn't mention it here if it weren't sold by the company who makes this. However I did not detract any stars from the review for this. The lost star is primarily due to the loud buttons. That said, this thing is well worth the money. It does what it is supposed to do and most people will have loud music playing and could care less that the button click loud. I'm still learning how to use it but everything I have tried has worked as it should (addressing, controls, banks of scenes, chases, etc...). My inexperienced view is, this thing is worth the money. I would like to know what the other jack is. It is not mentioned in the user manual. It looks like DC input if somebody wanted to power it from a battery. Personally, I wish it were a DC power output to power the wireless adapter I have plugged into it—but I doubt it. Wishful thinking.

Great for beginners
It's great for the price. Does everything you need it to, and overall it just amazing for beginners. The user guide is the best I've ever seen. Comes with pictures, guides, and charts, for your lights to. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is that when you program a chase, the other chases you have will become non functional until you reprogram the scenes into the chase again. It's not like they get deleted or anything, but you can only have 1 working chase at a time. Is may just be a problem with mine but I'm not sure. It's still a great product though. 9/10 for me.

Ok quality.
It's OK. It works but the cord doesn't fit right so it drops power without even touching it.

Great value
Great little controller! My only negative would be that the manual is tiny and not super well written, but with some time and experience you get it all figured out. All functions work as they should. Using in music sync mode requires quite a lot of volume, so what I have done is put a small speaker behind the controller, very close to it, then I can control the responsiveness of the sync mode by adjusting the volume on that small speaker. It would be nice if there was a sensitivity adjustment, but at this price you can't complain. Additional video added... Bysun lights top row, Lixada moving heads on the bottom, Chauvet Line Dancer in the center, all controlled by a Co-Z DMX controller. Fog machine is a Theefun, also have the Theefun bubble machine. For a low budget setup everything works as expected and was a hit with the wedding party. Looking forward to using this setup more this summer. One more item of note, my controller will set 184 scenes per chase, that is quite a bit less than stated, but not a deal breaker to me. Buy this unit.

We had a set of lights at our church. I bought dmx cables to chain them for easy configuration. Initially used a laptop and qlc+ but got difficult to manage. We didn't need wireless control so bought this, and took < 10 min to setup, map our 5 fixtures to the proper channels and save some scenes. Our use case is simple, and for that it's been great and others find it easy to use as well, once configured. So far it's been reliable (no interruptions like those mentioned in other comments). Nice that it comes rack mountable, but haven't gotten a chance to do that yet.
