Maybe you get a good pair, maybe not.
Below this edited review is one that I wrote about the first pair of these gloves I bought. They were pretty good, especially for the price. The second pair I bought to replace the first pair were not nearly as good. When I read others' reviews saying that the palm material was falling apart I thought they couldn't be accurate. Well, the second pair of gloves were exactly like others were saying. I used them on one job that wasn't very intense at all and the palm material was torn on both gloves. After two jobs the material was breaking apart and falling off. I'm talking about the sort of plastic mesh that covers the palm. The actual glove material seems to be ok still, but I don't know how long it will last or what level of protection its providing. I wouldn't recommend these again to anyone based on this second pair. Maybe the first pair was a more accurate representation of the product, but I'm not willing to put up with the odds of getting another junk pair. There are too many other affordable glove options out there to get fooled twice. (12/2013)I'm a professional Firefighter and I bought these gloves several months ago to use at work when I need to keep my hands protected, but don't want bulky turn-out gloves on my hands. So far, they've been pretty good. I've used them for everything from working with ropes, overhauling after a fire, pulling hose lines, raising ladders, and driving the apparatus. So far the only parts that are breaking down are the pull tab on the wrist(it split in half at the narrow point on both gloves), the little bits of extra material past the stitching are getting torn up and falling off(who cares right?) and the fish net material on the back of one glove got sliced open on something somewhere along the line(point being whatever sliced it, didn't slice me). My only complaint about these gloves is the big knuckle pads. The pads have a really cool tough look to them, and I'm sure they've saved my knuckles from getting busted many times, but they really do keep you from reaching into tight spaces, so in those cases I've had to just take the gloves off and take my chances. The gloves are relatively easy to get back on even when they're wet though. All in all, I'm happy with them.

Not durable nor protects your joints.
Had bought these in Nov 2015. These were to replace a pair of Klein gloves that a hole started in right hand fingers. Primarily used in demolition of a kitchen (plaster walls, Armstrong flooring over wood floors, drywall and insulation removal). Within 8 weeks, the gloves showed wear at fingers, sides and thumb. Palms held up. The X large are not protective of your knuckles (protection too far forward or back) and no finger joint protection. Thumb web wear is good. Tried to see if these work better working outdoors (splitting wood) and got hurt as these got damp from wood, no grip whatsoever. Cuff too short (debris will get up in wrist and sleeves). Gloves get damp quickly from perspiration. BTW, I moved to leather gloves for wood splitting. Did work well early when removing metal lath (think cheese grater).Maybe I set expectations too high but I fail to find ANY work glove maker with a product that can put up with something as necessary as renovation or remodeling work. I am not a contractor or tradesmen. I would gladly pay more for a glove that lasts, is impervious to impact, and absorbs vibration from tools. I can see use for several purpose-specific gloves (dexterity, metal/sharp object handling, renovation/demolition) and not one All-in-one solution. But don't label a Demolition glove when it fails to deliver or last.I am replacing with Milwaukee brand and seeing how that goes.

Great work gloves
CLC makes a fine work glove. I unload merchandise trucks consisting mostly of cardboard boxes, and I need to use a box cutter quickly as I work. The Demolition Flex Grip Work Gloves provide the light "slash" protection I need, and the rubber knuckle padding is perfect for guarding against minor crush damage as loosely-packed boxes shift during removal. Obviously, I'm not looking to put the gloves to the ultimate damage test, but I bought them because I need my hands to work, and these gloves help me out. They are also quite comfortable. The [carbon fiber?] palm padding, while not great for gripping, is perfect for when I'm carrying heavy items like large wooden shelves with splintered edges that would otherwise shred my fingers.I've worn them for about two months now on the job, and they are beginning to show light signs of use. The sewn edges in one or two places are pulled a little (not catostrophically), and the [goat skin?] fingertips are starting to show some character as well. However, I'm sure they'll remain in working shape for quite a while. Plus, they just look cool, don't they?

though so far
In my line of work I got through gloves rather quick because I'm stacking and unstacking pallets. I've been using this clc brand for a while and so far the 175m is the best so far and worth the money. I've had them for almost 3 months now and using them full time and there is barely any wear. Definitely has amazing grip. Although in the main picture, it looks like the palm grip pads are carbon fiber, its just leather. The knuckle protection is a little bulky for me since sometimes I have to reach into tight spaces. But that is no reason to take a star off since that's just a personal preference. Its not like it was defective and it actually does its job, so I don't want to be one of those people to give bad reviews based on something that works fine but I'm being picky

Decent glove
Works pretty goodProsTough palm and finger constructionGood dexterity and range of motion for the handI like the cuff, does not dig in at allConsBecause of the extra material on the fingers the seams in the tips are very thick and annoyingI don't really like the knuckle protection. It catches on eveything. And good luck getting something out of your pocket.Cuffs are nice but will rip at the seams soon. Already stretching. The "leather" pull strap has already ripped open.Other than that they are a pretty good glove. I have large hands and they fit well. I would reccomend giving them a try

They're standing up pretty well, got them a couple weeks ago
They're standing up pretty well, got them a couple weeks ago, the finger tips are stiff and square shaped which is horrible for picking up small things. If I turn glove mode on my Xperia z3 I can use these gloves with my phone. There seems to be some uncomfortable plastic under the tag that you don't notice unless you remove the tag. I'd definitely buy again, but one size down.

Comes pre worn/damaged
Left glove has major wear on the index finger. like it was worn off from the spikes from the other glove. Either way, dissapointed. Glove fits well, I expect it too as I always go for clc. Gives me a bit of extra confidence when demoing though. Just bummed out about the early wear.
