So easy to fit and use, great product
To be honest I was a bit sceptical at first - no drilling or gluing, really?! However, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to fit (couple of minutes), and it was very secure. Very easy to remove on bin day too. I was plagued by a local dog owner who regularly flings their disgusting dog poo bags in my wheelie bin, so without having to bring the bin into my garden, this was the perfect solution. It is extremely well made and very strong. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend it! UPDATE- bought a second one for the green bin, arrived super quick as did the first one. Cannot fault the service or the product.

Works well, really easy installation, although can be removed without opening the padlock
This is quite pricey for what it is, but as quite a specialist item, I thought the no-drilling benefits worth it. I regularly find disgusting messes in my recycling bin, and hence wanted a lock. Was initially thinking of drilling a hole for a padlock, but this is a lot easier. Takes about 30 seconds.. It arrived promptly via Royal Mail, signed for delivery. It should fit any standard bin, as long as there's a lip under which it can hook (see 3rd pic). The padlock is not super-strong, but also not one of those tiny ones, perfectly adequate for the job and comes with 3 keys. Once it's fitted, there's no way you're getting it off without some serious bolt cutters or the key.. It's easy to take on and off, and will need to be taken off for the bin men, not like those straps that you can leave on. If you're looking for a quick and easy solution, either against humans or animals, would recommend..Update: well, I thought it would be hard, if not impossible, to remove without the key, but seems it is easily done. Twice now I've found the whole bar removed with the locked padlock still attached. They've done this merely to throw rubbish in my bin, so it can't be very hard. Probably a question of strength. Anyway, if you want something that keeps foxes out, this will still be 100% reliable. For most casual passers-by it'll also work, but if someone wants it off, it comes off..

weatherproof lock!
Good sturdy lock, easy to use, but, certainly not weatherproof. starting rusting after first fall of rain. Had to go and buy a weatherproof lock.

Good product
Started to rust in parts after only a couple of weeks. You need to make sure in the right position so that it can’t be pulled open once the padlock is in place, but once you have the hang of it it’s easy and secure.

Very, very good.
I bought three of these for our bins as we had a problem with people putting things in our bins when there’s were full I guess. We also had people putting dog poo bags in. These locks are great, easy to put on and easy to take off, I couldn’t fault them. The downside is remembering to take them off on bin day, so far we haven’t forgotten, we have a calendar in our kitchen and a highlighter to make sure we remember. Very good product and this 72 year old has no problem using them.

Easy to fit. Decent deterrent.
I found it easy to fit and sturdy enough to act as a deterrent. It feels good and solid and it will offer security against lazy neighbours who love to put their rubbish in your bin. If someone is really so sad to the point of wanting to attack the lock, I'm sure with the right tools they could break into it. But it would still take effort to do that. But at least it sends out the message - no rubbish in my bin! I think it's a bit pricey for what it is. The padlock appears to be decent quality. But for a swiftly fitted deterrent, I'm sure it will do the job if you don't want to do any drilling.

Was pulled and ripped off by a neighbour within a couple of hours of fitting
Was pulled and ripped off by a neighbour within a couple of hours of fitting, so effectively useless in preventing my neighbour dumping their rubbish in my bin.
