TYR Women's Durafast One Cutoufit Swimsuit

Love this suit so much (I bought the dark blue color). Great quality and performance during my swims. I am new to TYR so I have been playing with sizing a bit. I normally am in between sizes (around 27-29). I ordered a 28 sized TYR suit previously and it was very tight putting on but great fit during swim. It was a similar cut to this one just a different color - I ordered a size 30 in this suit. It was much easier to put on but slipped a bit during the swim. I probably will continue to buy size 28 TYR suits and plan to squeeze into the suit at first in exchange for better coverage and movement in the water.

Great suit, comfortable fit. Size down

I’m 5’3 120 lbs, ordered size 32, bright orange. Love the fit of TYR suits for swimming. Holds everything in place. This particular one is a little more snug than expected, but ok. Although lined, it is still too thin to provide 100% concealment especially in bright colors. I’ve owned many of TYR suits, big fan but if you buy any color besides dark colors you will find out quickly that it’s in your best interest to go bare downstairs. If not, wet (worse) or dry, your situation downstairs will be on display because the suits are designed to be snug. I truly enjoy wearing bright colors, so I just have to keep that in mind before going public and everything is ok. When I don’t want to deal with that I just go for a darker color, all good. I lap swim and it’s as comfortable as a swimsuit gets in my opinion.

Needed this for swimming laps. I don't like when you can see too much skin OR when you can see certain things poking out. This allows me to swim with ease while feeling comfortable.

Makes me swim faster. Not really, but great fit and wear. I wore this suit 3 times in October, hand-washed it and left it in FL for Dec visit. Wore it 4x/week all of December and the suit is completely shot - the material has deteriorated and is saggy and has zero elasticity left. Very disappointing. I’m past the return window. No way I got 200 hrs use out of this suit.

Been buying this swimsuit since high school, one of the best suits out there. Comfy and cute, works well for practicing. Fits perfect! Stretches good too, and I’ve never noticed the color fade.

Love this suit for lap swimming! Material is fade resistant, longer lasting, and fits true to size.

The material is think and coverage is good in the front. I love how the back is mostly open and cuts around the sides..gives a bit a sexy style. Slightly more loose fitting than I’m use to (this is my first TYR suit, normally I wear Speedo which are tight fitting). Will continue to buy this brand!

I love Tyr great brand, My issue lies with the picture swimwear we bought were yellow and we received pink. It was called orange with pink in fairness. However in the picture the inside of the yellow set is pink and the colour looked yellow looked "golden yellow" so wrong picture coupled with bad wording that could be misconstrued meant I didn't get the colour I wanted, (which was for swimming carnival yellow team.) Next issue is that its slightly larger than the normal TYR fit, I have 3 daughters and have bought TYR for squad swimming for many years. I have purchased a lot of the butterfly back swimmers in my time, easily 50+ (I'm familiar with brand and cut) so I purchased these in 30 and 34 and they are more like a 32 and 36 on this particular set. generally Tyr is true and consistent with its size. As they were such good value I am keeping them as all of these things do not effect the quality but deserve a spot in a review. In my case someone in this house can wear them even if not the intended child. It is also a nice strong pink, They are still great swimwear at a decent price. However beware of sizing with these ones and colour. Edited to include pictures … I have used 3 different Tyr size 30 swimmers one used 2 new with tags for comparison. I placed them over the top of the received Pink swimmers. To show size discrepancy. If you look at the shoulder straps you can see they are longer on this set. The leg holes are much larger - and this causes it to ride over bum and sag at crutch - quite a bad combo. It’s also wider as a whole. The pink is vivid it’s the bottom set, and it is good quality
