The MACRO lens exceeds my expectations (I didn't buy it for, nor test the wide angle).A few reviewers claimed that this lens did nothing. I think some may have made the innocent mistake of using the lens right out of the box, not realizing that the two lens are screwed together when shipped. The two lenses, the wide and macro, nearly cancel each other out if used together. It's not obvious that it's two lenses. But if you separate them, they work nice.I used the MACRO lens with a Motorola G Power and was able to achieve 26.4X (power) magnification. I know it's advertised at 12.5X, but I was able to enlarge a target (salt crystals see upload) that was 1.25 inches across to 33 inches across (English measure more suitable here). And clear and reasonably sharp.

To be honest, I found the wide lens pretty laughable. Fixed over the main camera of my phone, it gets about the same range as the phone's inbuilt ultrawide camera, but with more distortion; fixed over the ultrawide camera, it's so zoomed out and distorted that the scene just becomes a tiny bubble. I guess it might be useful if your phone doesn't have an ultrawide camera, or maybe over the selfie camera if you don't mind the distortion. However, the macro lens, which is what I really bought this set for, is fantastic! It lets you get much closer to objects, and I've included some shots of my miniature collection to show what it can do. Image quality really depends on your phone's camera — the lenses are very clear glass, so they don't really obstruct anything, you just need to find the right focusing distance. The clip is plastic but the frames of the lenses themselves are nice solid metal, and they screw firmly into place. The carrying pouch is also a nice touch, except that mine really strongly smells of peppermint. Why peppermint? I guess there are worse things to smell like, but still, why?

I really tried to get this device to work, but it doesn't. When I clip it over my iPhone 7, there is no way to place it to avoid capturing the edge of the lens (rounding the corner of the picture). Also the clip is too short, so if you try to use it with a smart phone where the camera lens is in the center-back of the phone (like my LG android phone), you can only clip in one direction. There was less corner-rounding on the LG phone, but my iPhone takes superior pictures -- that was the primary reason I bought this lens. In both cases the wide-angle picture is noticeably distorted with a fish-eye appearance, NOT something I wanted. I didn't go further in testing the macro lens (wasn't interested).Amazon was gracious enough to give me a refund (the vendor apparently doesn't want the item returned to them) - so that part was good.

I bought this to scan 35mm film. I was disappointed with the quality of the macro lens. other reviews said it was quality, but when taking photos less than 3” away, the edges of the image are really warped and blurry. you get what you pay for given its half the price of most macro lenses

The construction of this lens is as it appears in the photos... feels solid with glass and metal parts, save for the clip-on component. If I had to guess, I'd say these budget lenses began life as Macro/Wide-angle lenses for consumer camcorders of a decade ago and have now found new life as adapters for cell phone cameras - which is a good deal for us consumers. Looking directly through the lens, you'll notice it resolves very crisp at the center but drifts into blur near the edge. This is fine since the cellphone's lens only uses the center portion. The wide-angle lens actually unscrews from the macro lens, giving you the ability to focus on items very closely. Re-attaching the wide-angle adapter offers a reasonably wide viewing angle, but on my Google Pixel 2, the lens vignettes in the corners - but not in video mode. Other than that, this is a great budget lens to expand the photographic capabilities of your cell phone camera.

No good. I'd hoped for improved macro shots of flowers - but the lens is worse than my 4 year old iPhone. Returned.

I am amazed by this lens. I was looking into a len that will capture great picture and angles, not that my phone doesn’t already, but just something extra. I own a Samsung S7. My cell phone case was too bulky, so I needed to take off the case. I haven’t tested the wide angle lens but I have tested out the macro lens, and I can say my eyes are in love. I’ve read some review as they say these len show on their cell phone more of a fish eye after taking the picture, but honestly it doesn’t. I’ll attach pictures of product and pictures I took outside after the rain while using the macro lens. I suggest move the lens around and play with it. It’s easy to use, take off and clip on. I can’t wait until I test out the wide angle lens. I would recommend this to friends, family and any one who is looking for something similar to this.

I’m a beauty influencer. I bought this to use the macro lense for a closed up picture of before and after makeup. I love it. It works and price is so reasonable...good value. I wish it came in a better packaging with more solid box.

La calidad con la que toma las fotografías en modo Macro es excelente, yo lo uso con mi iPhone X y he de mencionar que estoy mas que satisfecho ! La calidad del material es muy bueno , incluye sus tapas para el lente y una bolsita para transportarlo , un paño para limpiar el lente . Realmente muy muy practico y súper útil .

Optique pas essentiel pour la macro , dégrade de peu la qualitée des photos de mon galaxie s8 (voir photos avec et sans). Je pense le garder car il assure en panoramique, plus besoin de perche à selfie dommage les cotés sont arrondie sur l 'image je gagne un arbre et un coin de mur avec une qualité floutée , Il est quand meme épais sur le telephone mais semble robuste, ce n' est pas du plastique donc je le qualifie de gadget mi utile mi inutile acheter 8 euros lors d une vente flash. Je le garde malgrés tous.
