7x5 GARDEN SHED BASE GRID = FULL ECO KIT 2.1m x 1.7m + HEAVY DUTY MEMBRANE PLASTIC ECO PAVING BASES & DRIVEWAY GRIDS

Ideal for purpose.

The product is sturdy and well made, however, for a 7x5 base we only received 7 panels (please see picture which illustrates what this looks like). We contacted customer service thinking this was a mistake: surely there should be 8? There reply is pasted below:"Hi,you received the correct amount of the grids. You will need to cut one of the grids in half and lay 2 rows with 3.5 grids.This will give a total area of 7ft x 5.8ft.Kind regardsName"There were no instructions in the box to say that we needed to cut one of the plastic panels in half, an we never would have thought to do this. The plastic is very hard / strong and you would really need to do it with a jigsaw. Or perhaps a circular saw if you have one.All in all, not very impressed with this penny pinching. Ecodeck should just include 8 panels which forms a perfect rectangle.

Received an apology for broken item, nothing more.Used it for a base for new shed so only time will tell if broken pieces make a difference to the overall sturdiness

Great base for the shed

Looks good. The only problem we had with this was trying to calculate the amount of gravel required. Although I ordere what should have been enough to fill the assembled base we didn't have enough so have to get some more. Bases on the instructions one grid should take one bag of 25kg gravel. For the 6 assembled grids I had ordered 7 bags of 20 mm gravel. We didn't have enough. I worked out the cubic measurements and based on the instructions cubic measurements and we were way out. Perhaps it should be made clearer how muuch gravel is required per panel instead of multiple guess or guessing wrong based upon the instructions. Other than that well impressed.

Design of mould makes close fitting impossible and clips are only tight if fitted at widest point. no clips supplied for single edge fitting. Therefore grid is unsupported along edges, especially if panels cut to fit. I fitted 30 x 15mm timber along sides and screwed where panels butted but clips were loose. Now perfect for shed base.

So pleased with this. Installed over a year ago to stand our new greenhouse on, which has survived a stormy winter.It's important to anchor them to the ground and to shore up the perimeter to prevent spilling the fill material. We used 10mm gravel that's leaking out of the edges a little but it's still sturdy.Really easy to level after the gravel goes in.
