I don't usually bother to write a review but I am so pleased with this that I felt it wrong not to.The light is good quality and it's not plastic as I assumed it would have been it's metal.The most important thing is that the tint is a flame colour and on the yellow side as I think a lot of these lights are using a very bluish white LED which is harsh and cold, this is a warm light and quite cosy.I have my one running fine on rechargeable batteries and they last for ages.The dimmer function works very well and goes from dim to being brighter than I expected.I think 4aa batteries are the best option for most lanterns this size as they are inexpensive and commonly available, the 4 batteries will power this light for a very long time.All in all it's a bargain especially at the price point.I wouldn't take this in a back pack or hiking as there are smaller more compact lanterns designs for that, but for a caravan awning, caravan, boat or at home it's fantastic..

I can’t comment on longevity, but am absolutely delighted with this lovely looking lantern. The warm light it produces is excellent and can be varied from very bright to quite low. It looks very authentic too, and rather more expensive than it was.

Lightwight and flimsy with a fairly poor finish but is bright when on full and dims right down to a glow with the dimmer switch. For the price it does the job

This copper effect camping lantern is both attractive and effective. I use it in an outbuilding for light at night, when needed. I also hang it next to my house name sign for when guests and delivery drivers are trying to find our (rural) place in the dark.

Nice looking light, and gives out a nice warm glow. However, it's a lot flimsier than it looks in the photo. It's all plastic. The one I received was clearly a pre-used and returned item. There are scratches, and part of it's damaged. So it's definitely not robust by any means. I wanted to take it camping but don't think it'll last more than a few days! For the price, I expected something much better. I will be returning it.

I liked the glare from the lamp. but was disappointed with the condition of the one lamp the lid was dented in a few places was dented in a few places

These are really pretty good. Excellent value as £12. Really bright - in fact with 2 of theses outside at night it was too bright and we had to turn both of them down from 'max'. Thinking about buying another one when the price drops back to what I paid last time.

Offensichtlich ist das ein original Öllampen-Körper aus Blech, sehr schön mit Kupfer lackiert. Man kann sogar den Lampenschirm anheben (was natürlich witzlos ist, aber eine nette Spielerei).Statt der Dochtschraube wurde ein Drehregler eingebaut, und im Boden befindet sich das Batteriefach. Der Lampenschirm ist aus Plastik, was man ihm aber nicht direkt ansieht.Die Helligkeit ist stufenlos(!) regelbar. Voll aufgedreht ist sie recht hell (entspricht einer 6 Watt LED-Lampe).Den Stromverbrauch habe ich mit vier Ni-MH-Akkus (2000 mAh) getestet. Voll aufgedreht fließen 1000 mA, das ergibt ca. 6 Watt. Natürlich schwächelt die Lampe nach anderthalb Stunden, und nach 2 Stunden sind die Akkus leer. Logisch! Dreht man die Helligkeit etwas zurück, dann fließen nur noch 800 oder 700 mA (knapp 3 Stunden), bei "mittlerer" (naja, funzeliger) Helligkeit vielleicht 100mA (20 Stunden). Das ist bei LED-Akkulampen immer so, das sollte man berücksichtigen.Im Gegensatz zu den Plastiklampen ist diese ein echter Hingucker, und preiswert noch dazu.

Très joli lampe, fonctionne très bien avec piles. Nuance d'intensité de lumière, convient très bien pour une chambre, couloir même le salon si vous souhaitez une ambiance plus douce. Livraison rapide et soignée

Ich habe schon länger die Vorteile von Led-Campingleuchten genossen. Bei meinen, steht dann dazu, dass sie 3-4 Stunden leuchten würden. Tatsächlich leuchten sie mehrere Wochen, bei 2-3 Stunden täglich. Sie werden schwächer aber man gewöhnt sich daran.Nun suchte ich eine formschöne Laterne, ich dachte sogar daran, mir selber eine zu basteln, da ich nichts passendes fand. Idealerweise mit einem Dimmer und schön Antik.Ja und dann, zeigte mir Amazon "ähnliche Artikel" und da war sie. Genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte. Allerdings behauoteten etliche Rezensenten, dass diese Led-Laterne, anfangs ein sehr helles Licht machen würde. Das tut sie aber gar nicht. Es ist auf Minimal und wird durch Drehen des Knopfes, nach und nach heller. Die volle Leuchtstärke, entspricht etwa einer normalen Led-Schreibtischlampe mit etwa 4-5 Watt. Extrem hell, wirklich. Auf Minimum, ist es etwas weniger Licht, als bei einer Haushaltskerze.Sie ist sehr Designish und vermutlich aus Plastik, was man aber nur dem Lampenschirm direkt ansieht. Denn sie wirkt sehr echt. Und sie ist sehr leicht. Das Batteriefach am Boden, fasst 4 Stück Mignon-Batterien und ich bin sehr gespannt, wie lange diese durchhalten.Es macht Spaß, damit an der Hand durch den Garten zu gehen und wie bei den echten, durch Drehen des Knopfes, die Lampe heller zu machen. Da gucken alle erstaunt, bevor sie sich geblendet abwenden. Denn die ist wirklich hell.Ich kann sie empfehlen allerdings denke ich, dass ich mir bald ein Ladegerät für handelsübliche Batterien zulegen sollte. Das gibt es bestimmt.
