This was a very helpful book. I passed the NCLEX on the first try and I walked into the testing center with confidence, partially because of this book.First off, let's be clear. This isn't a book with 55 zillion questions in it. It is a review book. In other words it goes over the important topics of the NCLEX in a very succinct way. I read it from cover to cover (over the course of a couple of weeks, in addition to other studying). It was very helpful. As I studied from NCLEX Q&A books I realized that I remembered information that had been covered in this book. So, it was an awesome supplement to my studying.It has 10-15 questions at the end of each chapter to test your knowledge. It also has 2 practice tests. Both at the end of the book and on the CD. It has a total of 550 questions in it, so says the cover.

This was my favorite nclex prep book. It is a good broad strokes review. Of course, Idk that anything actually helps you feel prepared for nclex when you are taking it. But I focused mainly on this book and reviewing really common meds (lasix, dig, beta blockers, mag sulfate, dilantin, ssris) and I passed first time 75 questions. I really liked the cram sheet.

The book is ok for content review. Its just review not meant for stand alone studying. I bought the kindle version which provides practices exams but I'm finding some of the content with the questions is wrong. I have been looking up the answers and have found some is miss leading. Be careful using the practice exams.

This book is a condensed content review, perfect for refreshing body systems. I used this book exclusively for content review and Kaplan for testing strategies. I found Exam Cram to be the most helpful exam preparation aid, by far. If you understand content, you can figure out the questions. I took the time to fully review Exam Cram and some strategies in Kaplan and passed the NCLEX-RN in 75!If you feel like you want to review content in a condensed, yet clear and concise format, Exam Cram is excellent.Best of luck, future RN's!

I purchased this review book for NCLEX RN and passed my first try. I also used the PN version of this book for my LPN exam three years ago and passed first attempt. It is identical to the Nclex and has the most important things to remember listed in the first two pages of the book. I would highly recommend this review book over any of the very pricey big name reviews. A 20$ review book to pass your 200$ exam your first attempt is well worth the money spent and much cheaper than these reviews that cost several hundreds of dollars!
