Items arrived in good shape and our birds love them!

I've been using this brand and block for years. I started getting it from Amazon, very convenient from Amazon . But they are OLD I now have moths, worms and tiny bugs in my house from them. So be aware, open the box out side.

Birds love this and woodpeckers too . Wish I could get them locally since I go through it so fast.

This has great quality seeds, etc and the extra large cylinder last for weeks. I see at least 10 varieties of birds at the feeder. I have been feeding birds for a decade but I am new to using a cylinder. I really like it as the birds have to work harder to get the seeds so they are at the feeder much longer and so much more fun to watch.

I'm a frequent purchaser of Mr Birds Extra Large Wild Bird Seed Cylinders. I alternate between the various selections of material just to give the birds menu choices. They seem to last about 3 months, so it saves time climbing on the chair to change the bird seed pyramid which I suspend from a line attached to a tree branch.

to the people who make this product, please, do an inspection on this. when i received this package today and opened it up, i noticed that the bird seed cylinder was falling apart at the top. that, by itself, let me down but then i noticed movement. maggots. the maggots had made holes in the plastic and were even eating the inside of the box. the maggots were moving inside the seed cylinder and they were inside every single item i had ordered inside the box, as well. maybe i just got a very bad batch, but this left me very uneasy.

Still have some left after one month. It attracts plenty of woodpeckers and various other birds. I also believe we have the feeder raccoon proofed so that helps with how long it lasts. A bit expensive but if I only have to fill it once a month I will order again.

Usually a log this size of another type would last weeks. However, the birds LOVE this and it barely lasts a week. So, while I'm spending a lot more money buying new ones much more often, I'm also getting to see some rather pretty birds, such as woodpeckers and blue jays, among others. Worth the money to see a woodpecker eating upside from this, or another bird grabbing items from the log and flying away with it in its mouth. Glad to see such happy birds.
