So easy
Wow I can't say how awsome this worked. We have an older jennair and some of the Internal parts are a little harder to find. So when we got this replacement switch and it had the Wiring diagram it was like a dream come true, it made it so easy and only took about 10min.

Worst Amazon purchase ever
Not as pictured, not as described, different mfg. and took way too long to arrive.Requires electrical field modifications (which may/may not be possible) and addition of different control knobs. For further clarification:This was purchased for a restaurant owner who is 40 mi. from my house. He is a chef, not an mechanic/electrician. I expected a plug-n-play, not a one size fits all w/modifications. What was pictured was an EGO infinite switch, what I got was a Uniline switch. They are not the same and not what I ordered! For a serviceman who needs to provide an emergency fix they are wonderful. For the average guy: spend an extra $5.00 (Amazon) and get an exact replacement.3/10/2015, Amazon/Vendor issued a refund . No problem.

Hard To Find!
Replacement for a worn out burner control on an older Jenn Air range. The control switch arrived promptly, was easily installed and works fine. The installation diagram had a cross reference guide for hooking up control wires, which was very helpful, since the replacement switch's wire hookups were in different places on the back of control switch and had different numbering. I will order this again if any of my other burner controls stop working. Also the Robertshaw website has a cross reference guide which allowed me to order the correct switch.

Beats using vise grips
In a freak accident, a pot on the stove was moved from one burner to another, it hit the olive oil bottle that flipped over and broke the shaft on one of the controls (the olive oil bottle fell to the floor and shattered as well.. big mess). Since the control was still serviceable, I put a small pair of vise grips on the remaining stub of a shaft.. what more does one need? Well, my wife thought differently and consequently I ordered a new control. It installed easily in mere minutes, the wiring was pretty straight forward and the most stressful part was making sure I broke the universal shaft off at the right place.A quick DIY repair that probably saved me from a $150.00 service call.

Perfect Replacement
Once I found this switch for sale online, I came to Amazon and, as is often the case, found the lowest price.I read the reviews and found one woman who had used it (and left a 5 star review) on the exact same Thermador CV2136 that I have.DO replace one lead at a time so you can be sure you are sending the wire to the same post on the new switch.TIP: after you remove the wire from the post on the old switch and attach it to the new post, use a needle-nose pliers to crimp it in place so that it won't slip out.

Universal Infinite Switch
We ordered this product to replace a broken switch and ended up with two broken switches. The switch was easy to install, but is extremely fragile. While trying to cut the post, it snapped off at the base. The base breaks much easier than the rest of the post. We followed the directions exactly, using a pair of pliers to secure and hold the post steady and then cutting in the notch. The post snapped off at the base with just a slight movement.
