The content in the book covers a lot of topic although not so much detailed but more than good enough to understand.The first volume deals with all topics other than the engine. The second book is exclusively for engine.

Gives a brief about the systems of vehicle engineering expt for the engine system . For engine system i would recommend you the use of Vol2 . Both books are great

For those who are well versed in English, I don't recommend this book. You'll encounter a lot of spelling mistakes, which will ultimately lower the impression. Otherwise it's fine for first time readers.
