Convenient + Cost Effective Protein Source
Favorite protein drink to fuel my day and workouts. I have been drinking their 26g protein drinks and found these 42g versions were available. Flavor is great and super smooth, tasting exactly like chocolate milk but even better because it has way less sugar. While the price is higher than the 26g version, the price per drink still comes out to ~$3.85/drink, making this a cost effective and convenient way to capture 42g of protein in one serving while maintaining daily caloric intake. I normally have issues with milk (lactose), but I haven’t had any issues with these protein drinks. Overall, really tasty and a daily drink for me. Pro tips: Keep them cold in the fridge and add one serving of creatine to each drink for additional brain + body benefits!

Perfect for Coffee or On Its Own
I’ve been drinking these regularly and they’ve become an easy staple for me. The chocolate flavor actually tastes good and isn’t overly sweet or chalky. I often mix it into my morning coffee instead of drinking it straight, which works surprisingly well and feels like a mocha. With 42g of protein, it’s been a huge help for hitting my daily protein goals while staying in a calorie deficit. Convenient, filling, and easy on my stomach. I’ll definitely keep buying these.

Probably the best
I'm not a super meat head muscle workout guy, but I went from being very active about my nutrition and macros and then had an accident which left me disabled so my needs changed. This fits different needs, but is still really really exceptional. If you're a gym rat just looking for *only* plain old bulk protein to take after workouts, or you reeeeeeallly take a lot of it, honestly I'd get a big giant tub of bulk powder from like muscle milk or optimum nutrition. The price is just too good to ignore, & plus you can add another scoop or two to double or triple the protein. You can't really beat it, other than taste. Speaking of taste, whether it's a pre-mix or powders, I've never, ever ever ever tasted a protein shake that tasted as good as this chocolate one. Dozens & dozens of brands over the decades, & the only one that comes close was the OG Muscle Milk recipe in the old tetra packs from like 15-20 years ago, before they were bought by Gatorade or whoever. This has NO right tasting as good as it does, with as little sugar, calories, & fat. PLUS having artificial sweeteners like stevia & sucralose. One reason I despise pre-made shakes, zero calorie & low sugar drinks is because I have a very strong detection of artificial sweeteners, but I can barely tell these are there. On top of that, 42 grams of protein in 14floz? I don't know what magic Fairlife did, but it's incredible. One thing I will say though, is if you're taking a protein drink for pretty much anything other than supplemental protein replacement, this doesn't offer too much else. The "vitamins & minerals" aren't too impressive, and though a high protein drink can make you feel full or satiated, calories & fat are important too. As stereotyped it is, something like Ensure has a really good blend of calories, fat, sugar, and a lot of vitamins. There is a reason it's used all over hospitals & nursing homes. Plus the Ensure "Plus" & "Complete" have 16g & 30g protein each, respectively. They don't taste as good as the Fairlife does, but they're actually not too bad, since they use actual sugar. However, those really are meant for convalescing & true meal replacement, not bulking & training. The only other downside is price really, at $40-45 for a 12 pack, these aren't cheap. However, when compared to a good alternative like optimum gold at about $25 for a 12 pack, you're getting almost double the protein in each drink from 24 to 42, and they're 14oz instead of 11oz, so you're getting 168oz compared to 132oz, which is like getting 3 more drinks worth. It's still a bit costly per bottle, as an Optimum Nutrition/Pure Protein/Premier Protein 11oz pre-made at $25 a 12pk will be a little over $2 each, & the Fairlife 12pk @ $45 is about $3.75 each. Still cheaper than if you went to pick one up at the gym or a gas station or something, a single would probably be $5-7, so there's value there in bulk. If it's worth it to you, that's up to your wallet. Another plus is they are SNAP/EBT eligible, so that's a massive W. If you take loads & loads & loads of protein every single day, and lugging a shaker with powder around isn't a problem, bulk powder is gonna be a LOT cheaper. However, if you only drink one every couple days, and don't want to deal with the blender/shaker hassle, and most importantly want the best tasting shake, this is it. This stuff is awesome, & I'll 1000% be trying the vanilla and strawberry as well. The chocolate is an easy 5 and worth trying.

Excellent protein source!
fairlife’s Core Power Elite Chocolate Protein Shake delivers a solid punch for post-workout or on-the-go nutrition. With 42 grams of complete protein and all 9 essential amino acids in a 14 oz bottle, it refuels muscles effectively while staying low on carbs and sugars. The chocolate flavor is rich and creamy, more like indulgent chocolate milk than a chalky supplement — smooth texture and satisfying taste make it easy to drink. It’s especially convenient when you want a quick, high-protein drink without mixing powders. Overall, it’s a dependable, tasty option for boosting protein intake and aiding recovery.

Helpful weight loss tool
These are really good and a great alternative to a meal. IMO it tastes like drinking ice cream. Sugar content is low and it does not upset your stomachs, if anything you begin to feel full. Great for weight loss. It’s a little pricey but it’s a great protein booster

Definitely my favorite tasting high protein drink, but price is tough to swallow!
So I just ordered this Core Power chocolate 14 oz protein shake today and am totally impressed by the taste and high protein content. I’ve been drinking Orgain Chocolate with 38 g of protein, and while I was satisfied with the amount of protein, it was a bit challenging to drink taste wise, especially in the beginning. I got used to it, but wasn’t a huge fan. I need the extra protein and use it to replace at least one meal a day, as I’m taking terzepitide and struggle to get enough protein each day. The texture is really smooth, no chalkiness and it’s not sickly sweet. I don’t taste any noticeable sweeteners or obvious protein powder. I also add my collagen peptides into it and it mixed right up with no chunks, although I did use a handheld whisk to help me. The reason I knocked a star off, is just because of the price. I don’t really understand why these drinks cost so much. All in all, if you can afford this and you need the protein, I’d say go for it.

Best Tasting and Enjoyable Protein Drink
I’ve been drinking Fairlife Protein Shakes for a long time now because they are easily the best tasting protein shake on the market. They allow me to hit my protein goals easily and enjoyably. There are a lot of haters warning about ingredients like carrageenan, cellulose gum, or sucralose. Food-grade carrageenan isn’t the same as the degraded stuff used in some older studies. Sucralose and cellulose gum in the minimal dose of this drink is unlikely to disrupt your gut microbiome or cause inflammation - these are not the mega doses used in rodent studies. If you want to hit your protein goals with a protein drink that tastes like a milkshake and is low in sugar this is the compromise. If you just want protein you can get cleaner products but they taste terrible. I personally want to enjoy my protein drink.

Convenient, good-tasting way to add protein to my routine
I’ve been drinking these regularly for about two months, primarily around workouts, and they’ve been an easy and convenient way to add a significant amount of protein to my daily routine. The chocolate flavor is smooth and drinkable without being overly sweet, and the bottles are easy to grab when I’m short on time. I’ve found that pairing one of these with other nutrient-rich snacks works well for me as a quick meal replacement when I don’t have time for a full sit-down meal. Over the two months I’ve been using them, they’ve been consistent from bottle to bottle, with no texture or separation issues. If you’re looking for a ready-to-drink protein option that’s easy to incorporate into a busy schedule, these have worked well for me.
