Compact and lightweight little tent that does the job
Pretty good basic tent, mostly easy to put up, though it's best to stake the fly out separately and can be a bit fiddly to get the front pegs in right (best in front and not too far out to the side) so that when you clip the straps for the fly into the inner, the fly is taught and isn't touching the inner. It could do with some extra guylines or places to peg the floor down along the bottom sides really, as the netting sides tended to sag a little; not that big a deal though. Pegging the fly out separately gives you a nice amount of airflow-I had almost no condensation doing this-and creates enough of a little porch to store some things outside the tent, there was enough room for my shoes anyway. It's definitely not for tall people however-I'm 5'2 and was quite comfortable for sleeping, but I'd dispute the claim of being able to sit up, I couldn't sit up in the tallest parts without getting a serious crick in my neck, and I couldn't fit my bag in-I ended up wrapping it in plastic and tucking it under the back of the fly sheet.Used this for a few days camping in the highlands though and was pretty pleased overall with performance given the price. It rained-a lot-but the tent kept me nice and dry and dried out quickly once the rain stopped. Because it's small it warmed up nicely with me inside it and the netting keeps midges out really well too. It's very easy to pack back up again. I didn't want to spend loads of money on a tent because I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it (attempting camping after having some cold miserable experiences when younger) but needed something as light as possible as I was hiking and this fit the bill and lived up to expectations. It's light, it's small, it's cheap, and it does the basic job of providing adequate shelter.

cheap and light
I bought this in a rush, didn't think too much of the colour.... It's really bright, the least stealthy tent I've ever owned lol. It works well for a cheap light tent, I'd say good for Duke of Edinburgh or similar activity, plenty of room for 1+ gear. The head end is very good but the foot end is quite low, I was putting my bag down there to help lift the layers off my feet as the inner and outer come into contact so rain can cause a slight issue with damp toes otherwise.

Great lightweight compact mini-tent - perfect for travelling light
For the weight & size of it, it gives great protection against insects & dampness! In my picture the setup is not perfect as the terrain was uneven, but still, this tent did a great job keeping the dampness away in very dewy & cold conditions.Plenty of mesh secures great ventilation inside. The top layer kept heavy dew out, some of it got through as I couldn't have it not touching the mesh layer entirely because of uneven ground.Still, I woke up almost 100% dry next morning. There is space under the top layer to put your backpack in it.Considering, it's great product for Scottish hiking - I highly recommend it.

Excellent purchase
Very easily set up and folded back. I was protected from rain, it was stable, kept me warm inside and yet there was no condensation thank to the net structure. Managed to fit a mat, myself and even backpack in the tent. Very lightweight and overall highly recommended.

Rhino Valley Bivvy tent has a design flaw.
I bought this particular tent after reading all the positive reviews and initially after receiving the tent I was happy with the weight and ease of erecting the tent.First time I put the tent up I immediately had concerns about the aluminium support poles as they had to be put under quite a lot of pressure to get them in the correct position. On putting up the tent for only the second time my initial concerns proved to be true as one of the poles snapped under the pressure of putting up the tent. The weak part of the pole is were it is shaped with a slight curve.Once a pole has broken the whole tent is rendered useless. So I have returned it for a refund and will be looking to invest a bit more money in a better quality one man tent.On a budget it seems an okay tent but I would recommend something better.

It's a good tent for summer
Light weight, compact and easy to build. The only thing I have to point out is the cover sheet does not cover the entire tent. Had a bit of wind straf coming from underneath which was a bit annoying

Great value for money.
I bought this for a wild camping trip - never wild camped before so I wasn’t sure if I’d like it so I didn’t want to spend masses on a bivvy. This little tent was AMAZING!!! Really compact and light to carry. Easy to put up, kept me dry and warm too. Highly recommend it.
