Excellent choice, excellent quality!
Update: I purchased another similar product, the Brondell bidet attachment for another bathroom, to see if I would prefer a different model. Answer is no! While not a bad product, and definitely better looking than the kind that have the "pod-like" controls, it's just not as good as this product. The t-valve connector that comes with this product has a lever on it to control water pressure, which is definitely preferable. Just ordered 2 more of this model here, and I expect to order more! Great product!!! Aesthetically pleasing and great quality!Watched a video on installation of a similar product, and installed this myself (didn't let my husband do it, as I needed to see if I could do it for my mom) in less than 20 minutes. Had read about bidet attachments on an elder care page and thought I’d buy one for my mom. Bought one for us first, to try it out & evaluate. Well, my husband & I both are very satisfied, and with installation as easy as it was, I am definitely going to be ordering one for my mom. Most likely will be ordering more for the other bathrooms in our house, too! Especially nice about this product is the simplicity of the design, and the stainless steel hose to connect. All parts seem to be of high quality. Excellent choice! We've decided to keep a roll of select-a-size paper towels by the toilet, along with a wastebasket. We only use half of the smallest sheet size to dry off. So far, this is working well for us. Definitely looking forward to installing more! Can't believe I never knew these attachments existed before!

Measurement guidelines wrong, toilet seat uncomfortable
The instructions say for the round toilet measurement A must be greater than 18 7/8" and measurement B must be greater than 16 1/4". That is inaccurate. It should be at least 3/4" more for the minimum. My American Standard toilet from the 1960's had 19" and 16.5" measurements. With the bidet installed appropriately, the lid could only open a couple inches before it hit the tank. Moved forward so the lid can barely open fully, the seat front sits beyond the bowl half an inch, and half an inch of the rim of the china bowl is visible inside the seat. The seat is also much narrower than any home seat I have ever tried, so much so that it puts a lot of pressure on your legs. If you've ever used a small RV toilet, it is similar to those seats. The above is frustrating, since I would have known better than waste my time and money ordering and partially installing it if the guidelines were accurate. But otherwise the device installation hardware is well thought out, and it seems good quality for a lower priced bidet seat. It even came with a full brass water T which is very unusual at this price.I haven't bothered to hook it up to water yet. I'm still debating if I will take the time to return it, or not bother and move it to our guest toilet.

difficult for small toilets
I have an old house, and the placement of the drain makes it necessary to have a small toilet. This was almost too big -- I had to modify the mounting plate because the holes in my toilet were narrower than the opening of the plate. The compression style attachment also didn't fit in the existing holes, but the system is designed so you can snip off the end and use the top part on top and tighten the bolt with the thumbscrew.I found the top part of the fastener also too wide to fit in the toilet holes, and barely managed to get the whole thing tight enough so it wouldn't move around.Unlike other bidet systems I've had in the past, the included valve assembly worked great, as did every other connection. So that part rocked. I like that I can adjust the strength of the water stream such that it's impossible to damage tender parts.I also like: the ability to remove the seat for cleaningthe soft close featureit's comfortableMost won't have the issues I did, since modern toilets all allow for a larger oval toilet.

Uncomfortable
Well built, quality materials. Pressure is a bit weak compared to my previous bidet add-on. Toilet stays much cleaner with this setup though so the sprayers are well positioned and thought out. The massive problem here is comfort: the seat is extraordinarily narrow. In spots, it's actually narrower than the bowl rim! Now adding a bidet to any round bowl toilet is a challenge. No way to avoid losing front-to-back clearance - going narrow with the seat up front makes total sense. Narrowing the sides however is madness. In some countries, this bidet would be classified as a torture device under Geneva Conventions. In a nutshell, to know if this bidet is right for you, lift the seat and sit a few minutes on your bowl rim. If you can survive that, buy now!

How to avoid leaks! Overall excellent product for the price.
The media could not be loaded. Obviously most bidets are over $1000, so for 39 this is a feat. It's simple, but gets the job done, but the only issue with installation can be leaks especially, at the 7/8" valve to toilet connection, so I had to pull the beveled washer from an old toilet 7/8" compression hose and put that on top of the flimsy thin washer they provide and carefully thread that onto the toilet valve threads with some teflon tape. The second issue can be with toilets with a curve causing the bidet to not line up with the mounting holes and not be in the right positioning on the toilet, so I used pvc board to raise it up enough to clear the curves on our toilet. Now all is working, enjoy, light, love and peace to you all! Video is on youtube.

I am using this in a RV
I have a RV that I live near 9 months out of the year with my work. I tired of the every often paper build up in the tank and liked the Bidet at home. Well in both RVs I have Amazon item # B00DPIVZGC. So I order this for the unit I work out of. Well I had to cut the cover for the vacuum breaker off as to make it fit (see photos) however afterwards it works GREAT and look good. I am now using 75%+ less paper, and bit more water; however I no longer have a paper build up. I am goin to do the same with my play RV ASAPYou will need to order fittings here of buy from your local store fo the fittings that come with the unit are for home systems,When using the 12V pump I found out that I needed to remove the pressure regulator. The manual tell you how
