Murderous Maths X 10 Books Slip

Daughter (8 yo) can read these books on her own and obviously finds the contents interesting and memorable as she enjoys sharing various mathematical facts with us! A good read for adults too.

Our nine year old boy is facinated by these books, some maths are above him but he keeps reading for the jokes and the interesting facts. Also great read for adults great explanations very good buy!

I am a Maths teacher and get really fed up with kids only seeing Maths as something they have to do and will never do again! This series of books shows a funny side of my subject and also makes maths cool. The books are humourous, entertaining and full of interesting facts about various topics in maths. If you like things like Horrible Histories and Horrible Science - then these books are very similar but for maths Love them! Give them a go

bought these for my kids for xmas, i thought they were brilliant but kids were not as keen - hoping they will show more interest when they are bored with their other smas presents

Suits ages 8 and up. I really liked the cartoons and the simple explanations of all sorts of maths problems. Same style as horrendous histories. Great buy.

I teach maths at night supplementing school maths, sometimes to studentswho find maths hard, and sometimes to the very bright...both kinds of students love these books. They present maths and applied maths in such lively, easy-to-grasp ways. Hooray!

I've seen these books recommended on gifted blogs multiple times and I am so happy I purchased these. They absolutely tickle my nine year old who enjoys math and has advanced math skills. These go in the sports bag all the time. He also enjoys the science and history ones too. I wish I had found them when my older kids were this age.
