Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector [GlasTR EZ FIT] designed for iPhone 11 Pro Screen Protector, / iPhone Xs/iPhone X [5.8 inch] [Case Friendly] - 2 Pack

Wow! I've been using Zagg screen protectors because of their (useless) warranty. But applying them to the phone, just like most of the other brands/models, is tedious and annoying. It's hard to get them to align exactly the way you want and there are always bubbles. I tried two different ones in the past few weeks and was really dissatisfied. This Spigen GLAS tr EZ Fit looked interesting because it comes with an application tray and there are two in the package in case I screw it up. Plus, it's very inexpensive so I figured I'd give it a shot. WOWWW. I'm really impressed! The Applicator is a plastic thing that fits perfectly over my iPhone XS. So I'm sure that any other iPhones of the same size will fit perfectly, too. It comes with a full-size wet-wipe (well there are two of them because there are two applicators and screens in the box). I said full-size because the Zagg comes with a tiny one (really? Is that how to save money?). Anyway, it also comes with a microfiber cloth, stickies to pull dust particles off of the screen, and a thing to press along the screen to push out any bubbles. The process is very simple, you clean the screen with the wet wipe and the microfiber cloth. Then you use the sticky to remove any bits of dust (I did this at my desk with a bright light over it to show any teeny bits of dust). Then quickly, before any dust attacks, pull off the film from the underside of the applicator, you plop the hard plastic applicator over the phone (you can't screw it up, it fits perfectly), and then you rub in the center (it shows you were to do that), you wait 30 seconds, you peel off a label that is in the center, and then you remove the applicator. At that point you see a few bubbles but there is still a removable film over the actual screen protector. So you can rub the film with your finger, or with the tool that they give you for that purpose, to get the bubbles out. It was a lot less work than with any of the others I've tried. Anyway, then you pull off the film and VOILA! It was lined up perfectly and ZERO bubbles! I have to say, I'm super impressed. It looks great. And I have a backup on still in the box. Of course I have no idea how well it would actually work to protect the screen if the phone is smashed, and hopefully I won't have to find out. But I don't see why it wouldn't work as well as it's supposed to. It's a great deal and a great product.

UPDATED DESIGN: ok my actual review is below, but I received a new pack of protectors and I am thrilled with the changes Spigen has decided to make- see my pics, now the glass has a very slim black bezel around it which COMPLETELY eliminates the rainbowing effect at an angle that’s usually unavoidable with any type of glass protector (you don’t see it whatsoever when applied as it’s very precise!). AND now there is no cutout around the notch. The glass covers it completely with a smaller cutout for the earpiece only, and FaceID still functions as quickly as before and the front facing camera has no degradation in quality. It also helps prevent lint from building up around the notch- thank you Spigen! However, I will point out that I ordered a set of protectors for my mom’s 11 Pro Max the same day, and hers still has the same design where it cuts out around the notch and no bezel- I do hope that they update the design for other devices as well, it’s an excellent change! Don’t get me wrong the original version is still an amazing product. 👍 I feel that this new design will be much more durable, which I so appreciate the innovation especially for an older device. This is by far, bar none my favorite screen protector for my iPhone since the X (still have the 11 Pro). I use the slim Apple silicone case which is somewhat protective but still very thin, so when I accidentally drop it, this tempered glass protector breaks, and not my actual screen- which is the intended purpose. You also can tell it’s definitely tempered as it never becomes dangerous or sharp, always easy to remove and replace with another. That brings me to my next point- ease of install. It cannot get any more simple than this! What I have always done and it works every time is to clean the screen briefly with a lens wipe, dry with a glasses cleaner cloth, and THEN use either a can of compressed air or an electric one like I have to ensure screen is dust free. The rest is self explanatory and it lines up perfectly every time. The Steinheil glass is awesome and feels as good if not better than the regular iPhone screen! 10/10 product as always from Spigen- I will continue to purchase this same protector for any other phone in the future and for my family’s devices.

I bought this screen protector for my iPhone 11 Pro in December of 2019. Everything was perfect. A great kit, very well designed. Easy to use. Air bubble removal took a little patience, but that may have been my fault. Overall a great product. The high point is the well designed kit for making the installation task as easy as it could possibly be. July 21, 2021 After nearly 20 months of hard use, drops and other assorted impacts, my screen cover had developed quite a few cracks. (see photo). After each major incident (like gesticulating with me phone in hand, losing my grip and sending it flying), I could see new cracks and I hoped they were only in the protector... So, I decided to replace that cracked cover with the second one in my kit. They cover came off easily once I got it started. Getting the removal started was straightforward, it simply required intent; and the cover came off in one piece. After I removed the Spigen screen protector from my phone, I found my screen to be absolutely perfect, without a single scratch or chip. A little bit of cleaning with the included cleaning wipe to remove what I assumed was some residual from the previous protector, and some clean up around the edge of the previous protector, and I was ready to go. The second protector installed easily just like the first, even though it had been sitting around for approaching two years. Removing the few bubbles from beneath the screen protector with the included squeegee was simple. My phone screen is perfect once again. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Perfect alignment is assured. Top quality protection. Great price. Good shelf life. I am ordering another two pack.
