Good balance between usability and professional
I don’t know how but this scanner does the job right, I think it’s UI and data it presents are very good and well thought out. Sure, the numbers are confusing but it’s just a quick google search. I think it connects well between phone and car. Pretty good and I needed it to diagnose something, did just the thing I needed it to and now it’s used to track numbers. Great for its price!

Great way to diagnose error codes on cars. App has many capabilities.
Easy to use with phone interface. Small enough to take on trips with my 20 year old cars. Has saved me plenty of money by identifying the most likely issue. You still have to do the repairs yourself.

Great DIY tool.
I have used this reader on a 2019 Ram gas and a 2023 Ram Cummins. Works very well on both and gives you a lot of diagnostic information. Works very well for a diy kind of guy.

Couldn't find an error code in my car
Bought this to troubleshoot my car problem with ABS/Traction Control. Got it because of a good review in a car magazine. This device did not find the error code. This device is blue tooth and has a monitor as well. I don't think it's necessary. Blue tooth is enough, monitor with the cable just add bulk. Bought a slightly more expensive blue tooth device and it found the code, so I returned this one. One thing I learned through the process is that you need to go to the manufacturer's web page, look up the scanner you are considering buying and find its compatibility with the make/model/year of your car. For example, Model XYZ will support ABS error codes for the Toyota Yaris from 2005 to 2023. Your job is to find the scanner that supports most codes for your car. Obviously, this model did not support ABS error codes for my car...
