will use this winch in my boat house to haul and lift small boats and moters.

I love it. It works really good . I use it to lift signs up.

Motor will not turn, only hums. Would not recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice compact winch . Plenty of power and sufficient speed in both directions. Used 4 of them to build a elevator in my shop . 6’x12’ steel platform. To lift motorcycles from first floor to second floor. Lifted 3500 lbs in a test no problem. And that was single line . Took a while to get all four winches in tune with each other.Solution was to mount springs from the cable to the platform to keep the cable from unwinding when the platform landed .Keeping the cables tight at all times is a must.

Fine hoist for the money. The (plastic) fan has a protective PLASTIC cover that is fragile. If during shipping the hoist is turned on its end then this cover will crack. The hoist is heavy and difficult to handle without grabbing the fan cover. I replaced this fan cover with a metal kitchen strainer reinforced with acrylic putty. Installed hoist worked well for my needs. Very happy.

As advertised. It is about what you would expect...no complaints. Used it 3 times so far in a brewery, and would recommend as a replacement for a similar application.

The price and value is great for the product. I am using it in my company to lift heavy materials.
