This is one of those simple to set up and use items that we put in every one of our emergency BoB's and then leave them in vehicle.The set up, from time of sliding the pieces out of the bag to completion is about a minute. There is a little bit of mild bending required to make the walls come together around the bottom plate but this doesn't result in any kind of damage, it just ensures a tight fit for all of the pieces.Once assembled and ready to go it's just a matter of collecting or cutting up wood small enough to fit into the burn chamber. I find that I'm constantly feeding the fire as there isn't enough room to really load it up and the small wood pieces turn to ash rather than embers. It work to boil water or cook something but the fire does need constant attention to get things cooked.After use, it's a simple matter to wash/wipe the pieces down after they cool and then store them back in the pouch.While heavier than I would want for a back pack, for our use in the emergency BoB's its near perfect.

Somit konnte ich es nicht komplett zusammenbauen oder gar in der Praxis testen:+Das Material ist wertig (ich denke mal ein V2A-Stahl)+es lies sich leicht zusammenbauen (kein gefummel)+Größe ausreichen+wird mit Wertingen Beutel geliefert der weder zu groß noch zu klein ist+ Gewicht der Qualität entsprechendUnd jetzt zum dicken MINUS:Es waren 2 von 3 Seitenwänden nicht gestanzt, somit konnte ich das bodenblech nicht montieren.Mal schauen ob die zweite Lieferung dann „Zusammenbaubar“ ist.Wenn ich die neue Lieferung bekommen habe schreibe ich dann nochmals eine Rezession....

Da chiuso ha dimensioni trascurabili, dentro uno Zephir 24 della Ferrino nemmeno si vede, per montarlo si rischia di ferirsi con i bordi dell'acciaio, meglio usare un paio di guanti ; dopo un paio di volte diventa più facile. Dopo l'uso si raffredda in pochi minuti, e dato il nero fumo che lo ricopre, i guanti sono di nuovo necessari. Tutto sommato votazione più positiva che negativa.

Preso per cuocere la cena in un bivacco in tenda sulla neve, mi serviva un piccolo fuoco "protetto" ed ha fatto il suo compito. L'unico "neo" è che bisogna star spesso a smuovere la cenere da sotto in modo che prenda bene aria, ma bella fiamma.

Very handy for builting a small camp fire. It assembles very easily and is of solid construction. Another interesting discovery is to use it as a wind shield when cooking with a gas burner!! It stores very compact when packing.
