Easy fitting, good sound, solid connection
After weighing my options for Helmet audio, I decided on this unit. The price was considerably less than other brands on the market yet seemed to have many positive reviews with a feature set that seemed ideal for my use case.I was mostly interested in phone connection for answering calls, GPS instructions, and the occasional audiobook or music track. None of my friends ride so had no opportunity to test the intercom.First up fitting was a breeze and it installed into my HJC i90 in around 15 mins. The boom mic works great for the modular helmet. Speakers and boom are secured with 3m velcro style adhesive patches that fit under the helmets removable cushions. There are many options for velcro pad attachments provided so it was easy to customise placement to my needs. I used the provided clamp with additional rubber mounting pads for the Bluetooth module which proved to be quite secure. No shifting on the helmet when pressing buttons. With the unit installed, pairing wass quick and simple with my android device. Test calls proved that the mic was clear and I could hear the person on the other end with no issues. Music quality was good and even at 60mph I could hear notes clearly. Would recommend still using ear plugs as this always helps with wind noise.Overall, very pleased with the product.

Great device for price!
UPDATE: June 2020After having these a while, battery life is excellent and lasts around 3 days use with constant intercom/gps. Sound is good even when wearing ear plugs, and honestly, a bit loud without the ear plugs. Only issue I’ve come across is the one using the 3m pad is a bit loose and has come off the mount if I swivel my head a bit far. I’ll only consider moving to something more expensive if I end up needing voice activated intercom.Fitted to 2 x HJC IS Max II modular helmets. Was easy to fit using clip to my wifes size S helmet but my size L needed to use the 3m sticky pad for best results as the clip was a bit loose. Voice clarity is good and the only thing that lets it down is the fact you have to press the intercom button every time you want to speak if you have GPS or FM radio running as well. Buttons are quite small to use with gloves hands - even my wife who has small hands said they aren’t that easy. We decided to keep the intercom active all of the time Whilst I didn’t require GPS, for ease of use Improvement would be to use voice activation to cut gps or music when either of the paired devices speak and then switch back to gps after a few seconds automatically. Obviously that would impact on price but I’d happily pay that bit more for that sort of functionality

I hear you, loud and clear.
These are great for pairing with like machines. Getting a 3way chat and 4way chat can be tricky-the instructions take a few reads to get it right-but once you've done this a few times it's straightforward.I haven't tried with other headset brands yet, but it seems confident it can do the job.Installation is easy from the headset perspective, it's the helmet that makes the difference! That said, the sticky pads are sound, and the clip for the unit is strong- I had to bulk it out a little to stop it rattling as I didn't want to use the self adhesive one.The mic and speakers are very good for this price, clear even at motorway speeds.Working the buttons can be tricky in big gloves, until you learn the positions by rote really.I haven't tried the Google assistant function, but a double tap on vol up for last called works well! It'll answer automatically after a few rings to avoid any faffing.Range is line of sight. Don't be fooled by claims of kilometres. That said, it's no worse than cardo or senna offerings.Battery life is as advertised, 3 and 4 way chats hurt it hard but you can still expect 4/5 hours easy. If you've a battery pack in your jacket, the leads to connect up shouldn't get in your way.Seems waterproof! Hasn't stopped on me yet.
