Strange Definition of Sharing!
I bought this book to try to help my two year old learn about sharing and turn taking. However, the children in this book all seem revoltingly spoilt to me! Like the other books in this series, the advice in this book is misguided. No one has to actually share! Each page features two children squabbling over something and then you lift the flap to reveal the solution. BUT more often than not, the solution seems to be "Get your own!". For example, on one of the pages a child has a box of raisins and the text reads "MY SNACK! You can't eat it... but maybe I'll give you a box of your own" Would it hurt the child to genuinely share a couple of their own raisins? I really, really wouldn't recommend this book. There are a million other, better books on sharing. Try 'Sharing a Shell' by Julia Donaldson.

Another Karen Katz Kat-astrophe
please avoid and spend your money elsewhere. See the other reviewer's comments as I totally concur. Sharing appears to mean having 2 of everything so, in fact, there is no need to share as everything is bountiful and you can keep things to yourself. Karen Katz should be ashamed!!!

Cute book and useful! My daughter was intrigued by the situations where children needed to share things and to learn how to act better and realize how sharing is nice.. and it sort of worked at the playground when she didnt want to give up her toy, I would tell her that it is like in the book :)

Bought by thinking it's a flip flap book. But it's not. Illustrations are not that great. It's not worth for the money that I paid.

My toddler and I enjoy this book. Straight to the point and drives the message home clearly. Big words. Bright colored pages. Easy for a toddler to read and follow along with. Good price point.

The messaging around sharing in this book is outdated and not something I want to be teaching my daughter. Would not recommend for learning how to share nicely. Very disappointing
