Subaru 2010-2014 Legacy Outback Rear View Backup Camera 86267AJ10B

Kind of a pain to install the way Suburu designed the back door. But pretty much plug and play once you remove all the rear panels and bunch of "hidden" bolts. Camera worked great and image is clear again. Looks OEM. Check youtube for videos on the install process.

Fix just like original camera and works just find.

Looks and fits like the factory original part, but I must say that I was less than impressed by the picture quality. My backup camera hasn't been working for several months, so maybe I just don't remember how it looked when new, but the picture sure seems grainier than I remember. If I could do it all over again, I'd probably just keep the $210 (includes WA State sales tax) that I paid for this in my wallet, and just continue on without a working backup camera.

Install required removal of lift gate interior and exterior trim. Taking care not to snap any trim clips, it took approximately 2 hours. Trim removal tool and an 8mm socket. Actual connection was simple plug and play. Fixed my intermittent back up camera and works as expected.

The new camera works just like the old one in terms of display on the mirror being clear and crisp. The installation took a little over 1.5 hours due to the location, but dropped right in as expected.

My factory camera corroded. This camera fit perfectly and plugged right in without any issues. My backup camera works great.
