World Cuisine Non-Stick Silicone Mold, Bread, Pandoro

This was my very first silicone bakeware purchase and I am very pleased with the results. I made my first batch of brioche dough in three different pans - a popover pan, metal loaf pan and the silicone mold. This silicone thing was hard to get a grip on when transferring to an from the oven and when rotating once in the oven with mitts but the baked result was the best. The brioches all popped out instantly for cooling and the crust was the best of the three variations. Each individual brioche was even baked and tasted just like France. I am going to buy lots more silicone bakeware in the future (cleanup was great, too - nothing sticks) including another one of these so I can make a dozen at a time.

My 2-year-old broke all his crayons so we've been melting them into crayon blocks. 350 degrees for about 20 minutes then let set up in a cool place. Flip the molds inside out to peel out the crayon blocks: they're toys (for building towers), they're crayons, they're so much fun. We've used these molds quite a bit to peel out hard crayon blocks and they really hold up! Unfortunately it has taught my boy to keep breaking crayons so he can make more crayon blocks. Luckily most restaurants are more than happy to give him more crayons. Originally I purchased the mold for making chocolate bars and frozen treat bars. The molds clean up really nice so we can still do that when we eventually run out of crayon bits.

I bought this (at an incredible Cyber Monday price) because I like making individual panettone and thought it would be great to have a single pan that can make up to 20 at a time.The full pan fits perfectly in a standard oven, with enough room for air to circulate around it. I love that the silicone is thick, it stands up without sagging, and it is ever so easy to get the bread out of the mold. Just a little press on the bottom and it slides right out. I thought the little ridges in the sides would be a sticking problem, but they weren't at all.My only issue with the product is the size stated in the description. It says 2 3/4" w x 1 1/2" h, but the size is actually 2" h and the mold tapers from 2" width at the base to 2 1/2" at the top. This is a problem when you're expecting a certain size and have ordered paper wrapping and gift boxes in a size that doesn't fit the breads from this pan.

I have never used silicone molds. I ordered these to use for caramel making. I was absolutely blown away at how well silicone works for caramel making. I don't have to worry about my caramels sticking to the mold. It makes a cute little rectangular piece that is perfect for gift giving. The molds make it easy to layer my caramel and chocolate carmel and to add a layer of nuts. I would highly recommend this for candy making. They withstand the high temperatures well and are very durable.

I recently took a cooking class in France with a venerated French chef. He taught us to make Canélé and instead of using the ancient method of using copper molds coated in melted bees wax, Chef Coiffé used silicon molds similar to this one coated with melted butter. We came home with a small silicon mold for four pastries, but I was interested in making smaller ones for parties and entertaining. I was delighted to find these! They are so easy to use and do produce the desired result.

These are much smaller than I was expecting. The hemispheres are the diameter of a quarter and about half an inch deep. I wanted a mini mold, but after receiving this in the mail I have buyers' remorse. I'm keeping it because I need that shape and don't have time to shop for another one, but it's not worth the money in my opinion.

I ordered this about a month ago but just got a chance to use it at work yesterday. I love it, not just because they are super tiny and cute, but because I don't have to spray it or anything and it's so easy to pop the tarts right out. Also it is super easy to wash because nothing sticks to it. Look forward to using it more for baby shower treat and other fun stuff.

This is my first purchase of silicone bake-ware and it won't be my last. I don't have to grease the cavities of this pan before baking but my rolls bake evenly without burning and fall right out when I take them out of the oven. The only thing I make sure I do is place the pan on a silicone baking wire rack so it won't fold over on me and it bakes perfectly. I strongly recommend this brioche mold!
