Nording Keystone Pipe Filters - 100 Gra,

I never really liked filters. They get soggy and nasty. And the price adds up. Someone suggested I try these, and wow! What a difference! A few pebbles at the bottom of the bowl absorb moisture and help the tobacco burn evenly and smoothly. Plus, they can be reused. The price of this little bag may seem steep at first, but when you consider how much you'll save on filters in the long run it's well worth the investment. I don't notice any flavor from the stones, but that may depend on what tobacco you're using.Anyway, I'll never be buying filters again.

I've smoked pipes for decades and finally gave Nording Keystones a try because I read about them on a pipe smoker forum.I absolutely love them! I now use ten stones at the bottom of every smoke. Buying them in 100-gram bags is economical -- I toss the stones after smoking rather than dry and re-use them.I smoke all kinds of tobacco blends (aromatics, Burley codgers, Virginias, English) in all types of cuts (plug, flake, square cut, ribbon, shag) in all sorts of pipes (briar, meerschaum, cob).Using these stones, I can pack the tobacco tighter for longer, more enjoyable smokes. The draft is much improved -- allowing cool gentle puffing with minimal re-lights.They absorb the moisture which is an issue with some blends.They allow me to smoke tobacco all the way down to ashes without burning the bottom of the bowl or my tongue.So, in general, Nording Keystones make the entire pipe smoking experience more forgiving and pleasant.I wish I had discovered these earlier in my pipe smoking career.

I'm truly impressed with these stones. I use 8 or 10 stones in a pipe and have seen drastic results. The gurgle I occasionally got, gone! The dottle that was usually present, gone, nothing but ashes left! I reuse the stones, just rub them clean and set aside for the next pipe. I've been using the same 10 for a few days now, I haven't used them for different types of blends for fear of flavor ghosts. I have 10 set for my English and 10 set for my aromatic blend. This little bag will last a very long time, however I'm ordering another one, just incase I misplace the one I have. They make that much of a difference.

Doesn't absorb moisture as much as I would prefer but better than nothing.

Im not really sure it works at all. I have tried a 3 or 4 and then tried a lot (dozen).No real difference. Maybe a little less juice at the bottom but overall I don't see the value.It might just be you need the Nording pipe to make them useful.Ill keep using them until I run out but im not sure if ill reorder them.

needed some extras and found them here at a reasonable cost. id rather shop local but smoke shops are harder to find and may not even carry these. so anyways, as a prime guy this was a no brainer. if you use this product you know what youre getting and this is worth it.

I have been a casual pipe smoker for about 15 years now. I have a small handful of pipes, and haven't been known to smoke them regularly, but more on special occasions, vacation, etc. I often found that keeping the pipe lit was the most frustrating aspect of pipe smoking. Even when I followed to accepted procedure for packing the bowl, i would still often have issues. The nording pipe filter granules have greatly increased my ability to keep a pipe lit, and smoke more of the pipe tobacco. I highly recommend trying this product.
