KBS Coatings 2400 KBS Klean - 1 Quart, Water Based Cleaner & Degreaser Concentrate

Highly effective. Wear PPE (hands, eyes), extremely caustic. Depending on the project size or wind direction, a mask may be warranted. I bought this to strip wax & oil before sanding gelcoat. I used a scotchbrite pad and a 1:10 dilution in a spray bottle. It disincorporated the grime in every nook and cranny. Rinsed easily. I will be using it again as prep prior to applying KBS DiamondFinish Clear to seal the restored gelcoat (hopefully forever). One gallon makes about 40L (10Gal) of cleaner. Good value.

Good quality effective cleaner!! If you use it for what’s it’s intended for that is. If you want a heavy duty degreaser then you probably won’t be impressed. If you want a high quality extremely versatile all purpose cleaner then this will impress!! The only extremely annoying thing is the directions/dilution ratios are not on the bottle, KBS wants traffic on their site so they make you go there to get them. I know, I know it’s utterly ridiculous and actually dangerous and irresponsible. But it’s a good enough product to deal with.

Bought the whole kit but needed some extra klean as tank was super rusty. Does what it says it does. Soak it with the klean. Drain rinse use the rust blaster to etch the inside to prep for the sealer Drain rinse couple times let dry pour in sealer. Coat the whole inside of tank pour out excess let dry for 4 days and your golden.

This stuff works.
