Bristan 212415 Waterfall Exposed Shower with Rigid Riser and Handset Mixer, Chrome

This is an excellent shower at a very good price and looks well now that it’s installed. The following will only apply if you’re installing it yourself. Building and plumbing regs would say that the shower valve should support the pipe work, not the other way round. This valve DOES NOT come with a proper fixing bracket, instead it relies on two “cranked connectors”. These are useless, a utube search reveals most plumbers will throw them in the bin and buy a proper fixing bracket. Before discovering this I even rang Bristan technical support, who didn’t help. An online search reveals Bristan actually make purpose made fixing brackets, these can be bought from Screwfix, which one you buy just depends whether you’re installing the bracket behind or on top of your tiles. You can even but good brackets on eBay for bar shower valves, that’s what I did. Problem solved

I’m amazed how good this shower is! I got the plumber to install it, after he had installed the new combination boiler. It’s a very powerful shower, when the valve is fully open. The design is very modern and feels expensive. The power of the shower is much stronger than the original power shower, which had to be removed as a result of the new boiler. The water pressure will vary according to what type of system you have. The hand-held part can be used as the main shower. The rail is adjustable, so you don’t have to use the overhead shower all the time. The overhead shower is just like standing in summer rain, it’s perfect and very relaxing.

Had the shower installed and working for a week now. For the price, this is really good value, looks amazing and works really well too. No problems with the thermostatic function and really easy to operate between overhead shower and hand held. Would recommend this.

Great shower, love the waterfall effect. Very well built but the bracket for the hand held part doesn't hold the wand very well - otherwise this would have been 5 stars !

A superb high quality good quality shower. I bought this as I already have one in another bathroom. The price was lower than elsewhere but I believe that’s because there is no Bristan branding etched into the thermostatic bar nor the rainfall head. So that should be made clear that it is unbranded but for the price it was excellent. I also managed to fit it quite easily as the previous shower already had fast fit plumbing compression fittings.

Bar and shower neck fell heavyweight and quality. Underside of shower head is cream plastic not chrome (misleading photo) Holder for handheld shower head sits to the left/right of the upright, not to the front. It is also too small to hold the shower head! Very inept.

This review is after install and 2 months of use. Great quality, easy install and works perfect. No issues at all.

looks good, works brilliant and my plumber fitted it and he completed the work in a day.
