I have been on the hunt for the perfect toaster oven for weeks. We needed something with a small footprint, a crumb tray, adjustable shelving and reliability. We didn't need any frills - just a basic oven that toasts bread and reheats leftovers. I don't know why that was so hard to find! Most toaster ovens these days come with features that we don't need and you end up paying double the cost.I just got the toaster oven today and put it to the test. It was incredibly easy to unpack! It's also very lightweight and fits on our counter perfectly. I set the temperature with the top dial and the time to the bottom dial. That old familiar timer sound was music to my ears! It says, "I'm reliable."The pizza slice actually heated up ahead of time so I was able to manually stop the process by turning the dial down to "off" and heard the "ding" sound. It was perfectly reheated, no burning, and there were no chemical smells upon first try.But the BEST part of all is the door! I LOVE the way it swings back out of the way, so when you remove the food out of the oven, there's no dripping on the glass since it's behind the unit. It's also so cute with its diminutive stature!This is day one so, if any updates are required, I'll do so but I'm very happy!

This oven caught my eye with it's unique look. The style is not your typical box shaped oven. I love the way this oven looks. I bought this toaster to use for science experiments and especially shrink plastic crafting in my STEAM classroom. This toaster oven is streamline and sleek looking. I love the stainless steel color. It is easy to clean especially with the way the door opens upward. This makes taking hot items out of the oven safer and easy- you don't have to worry about accidentally bumping your arm getting things out it since the door goes up and over. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality toaster oven that heats quickly, evenly, and it really is the perfect size, not huge and not tiny.

I received this toaster oven today and so far I've only tried toast in it which it does an awesome job toasting. it comes with a wire rack and then the wire rack has a little shelf under it that you can put the roasting pan onto to use as a drip pan for if you do meats like chicken or fish on top of the wire rack so their juices go into the drip pan. the drip pan can be taken out from under the wire rack and use on top of the wire rack for things like potatoes and french fries and roasting vegetables etc. I gave it a four star review for now until I try other things like chicken and fish because I only tried toast for now which as I said turned out awesome (see pictures) I really like that it is roll top door which saves on counter space and keeps you safe from getting burned like others do with doors that lay down in the counter . there is no odd smells from this when it's running and obviously it's not very loud because my dog was not afraid of it and she is usually afraid of appliances when they are running but this did not phase her at all. it will be a great asset to me for the summer months when I don't want to use the big stove just to make chicken or fish sticks or to just reheat leftovers etc i also plan to try some beef with vegetables in it at some point. once I try these items I may come back and give it a five star review so keep watching for an update

Perfect size on counter; no excessive heat top/sides. Have only used a few times, but pleased with looks & function of toaster oven.

We love love love this toaster oven. Our old one gave up the ghost after years (and I do mean years) of multiple usage every day, and we were so glad we found another one. Heats up quickly, bakes items, and the removable door and crumb tray make it super easy to clean.

My second one. I was gifted my first and it finally stopped heating, so I replaced it with the same model. I can fit a decent amount in it for one or two people without heating up the whole kitchen by using the big oven. Easy to clean. Looks nice. Big plus that the glass lid comes off for cleaning the inside. Timer works great or can be turned to 'on' until you turn it off. Toasts nuts and seeds nicely but keep an eye on them. The only improvement I would like is a healthy stainless-steel cooking tray instead of aluminum. It would be worth a few bucks more. I purchased some small glass cookware designed for toaster ovens and use that mostly so I can cook meats and casseroles. With the glass cookware I can also bake a small cake or pie.

I was so disappointed in this toaster. My wife and I have had a different model of the Hamilton Beach Easy Reach toaster (Model 31127D) which finally bit the dust after 5 years of heavy use. We make a lot of toast, reheat foods, bake chicken, small pizzas, etc in our toasters and the other Hamilton Beach was awesome.This new style of Easy Reach toaster had a loose roll top door! If you weren't careful, it would just slam down. Our other one closed in a smooth and controlled fashion to the very end.To it's credit, this curved top toaster was compact and it made okay-enough toast. Unfortunately that's all the positives I can give it. The other negatives, besides the door wanting to slam down - this toaster took a really long time to get to temp and didn't heat evenly. Plus it also didn't fit any of our previous toasting trays that fit in the other Hamilton Beach.If you want a smaller toaster oven with this sort of roll top door, I recommend the other model that I listed. We loved that one and it's only $20 more than this one. It also has more and better functions. You can even cook a small chicken in that other one.Overall I've been a big fan of most Hamilton Beach toaster ovens. My wife and her family are major users of toaster ovens, while I myself had never used a toaster oven much before meeting them. I learned how useful and fast they work, the energy efficiency, and the fact they don't overheat the house. Just try a different Hamilton Beach model, in my opinion.
