Great set
Lovely box set, delivered double wrapped in cardboard so that even white van man couldn't damage it.It's a shame the publisher got preachy and omitted 'Congo' as I think we're all sensible enough to read it without issue.Tonight, it's back to my childhood as I start reading and taking in the lovely visuals

Fantastic collection of nearly all of Herge's Tintin books
I very much like having this collection of Tintin's adventures. The pages are good quality, the print is good, and it's also very nice to have the high quality box containing the comics. As a child, I had a collection of several of Tintin comics, most ended up lost or damaged, but I read them constantly for several years. My favourite stories being The Blue Lotus, Flight 714 to Sydney, The Red Sea Sharks, and The Calculus Affair. I must have read those adventure's hundreds of times, so it was good to have the comic's once again. My only issues with the comic's are: the font is not the same as Neil Hyslops original hand-written font. This for me is a fairly big deal, as I truly enjoy reading Hyslop's handwriting over a typed font. It may seem silly to some, but the stories somehow had more expression and meaning to them. When I read the typed version, although it is also the same story, I feel like I miss out. I also think that Hyslop's handwriting was easier, and more enjoyable to read.My second issue is the lack of Tintin in the Congo. Although this story has suggestive themes and connotations, I still think it should be included. I would also argue that certain other comics contained more controversial narrative and racial commentary. I however do understand the reasons for them not including this title. I still think it should be included to complete the collection.Overall, this really is a fantastic collection of Tintin's adventures, and any newcomer or long-time reader would be happy with it. My reason's stated may be particular to some, but these are the reasons why I didn't give 5 stars.

Wonderful!
Finally bought this set for myself and it was so worth it! So cool to have all the books in full size and colour! Really high quality books. I did find a white spot in one book which maybe a printing issue but every other book was fine. Set came quickly and packaged nicely so there is no damage. Perfect for tintin fans!

Great product, appalling delivery
Great item, bought as a present. Unfortunately, hugely let down by Amazon’s delivery. Received an email to say handed to resident - it wasn’t. It was actually dumped on my doorstep in full view of the street, with no attempt to ring the doorbell.
