Helps get your phone off your bedside table.
UPDATE: I've had this clock since Nov. 2019. I've not had to replace the battery yet. I'm about to buy 2 more for my daughters going off to summer camp. It's super reliable (if I remember to set it). I've not been rough with it, so I've had no issues with it breaking, but I have dropped it on occasion. Also, I have to say, I often find myself grabbing this little clock and using its light to find my way around the room in order to not disturb hubby. Super handy in a unconventional way.I wanted this clock to use as an alarm instead of my phone so I wouldn't spend all night scrolling. It's a great size (the palm of your hand) and price. The alarm is loud enough to get you up but not disturb the rest of the house. I did have to learn how to set this clock since I had never used one like this before. Just turn the small silver hand to the little corresponding dot on the face for the time you want to set the alarm. Pretty easy really. There's a snooze button on top that blends well into the design. It also acts as a light at night. It does not light up the entire face but just shines a light down onto the face. It's not the coolest light, but it works well enough. It doesn't take up much space on my bedside table either, which makes it feel less cluttered. Basically, it's perfect for what I was looking for.

Sorry, I returned it, and then kept it...read on...
I returned this, out of the box didn't work. I tried 3sets of batteries, nothing. If it worked, 5stars, since it didn't 1star11/16. Meko contacted me and informed me they wanted to make my purchase right. I thought this was great 1 extra Star for reaching out...they will be surprising me later this week, which I hope gives them 3 more Stars! We'll wait... Don't want to spoil or hype up until seeing is believing. Stay tuned reviewers ;o) I will be re-re-reviewing (wow, that's a lot of Re's)11/21 Update...So Meko reached last week and wanted to make my purchase/return right. They sent me a complimentary clock to retry (since the 1st was kaputz) so, surprise to me they made right on their product! That's 5 stars! They went from 1 to 2 to now 5.Thank you for standing by your products Meko. I will be sure to buy from you the next time I need a small clock (or big one if you have them??)I will also be sure to share this experience.... Accurate and reliable, and cute!
Actually, it does tick, but not loudly enough to keep me awake. I tend to notice it when I'm in bed, but fully awake (reading, for instance). But it's a quiet, whispery little tick. The alarm is loud enough to wake me, but doesn't blast me out of bed. A light comes on if you touch the top of the clock. I had another of this clock, but the light gave up fairly soon. My husband adopted that one, so I ordered another for me. So far, no problems. But because it's an analog clock, not digital, it's hard to set the alarm on a precise time. For example, if I want the alarm to go off at 9:30, I try to put the little marker halfway between 9 and 10, but I may actually be setting it on 9:15 or 9:45. However, after using it awhile, you get a good sense of just where to set it, so not really a problem. And I think it's kind of adorable, with its curvy, retro style, and its pretty shade of blue.

Pretty color. Hard to remember which knob NOT to turn clockwise...
The seller says on the Amazon page not to turn the alarm button the wrong way, because if you do, the setting will be off by 10 minutes. Apparently I did that -- I turned it the wrong way.The paper that comes with the clock doesn't specify WHY you shouldn't turn a knob the wrong way. It should specify, because then it would be easier to remember how to set the clock correctly. Also, it would help to have simple graphics on the back of the clock, with an arrow curving and pointing in the proper direction for each knob. Simple, effective. But because those graphics are not there and the instructions paper doesn't really tell why it matters, it's hard to get it right. So your alarm clock will probably ring 10 minutes later than you want it to.On the other hand, it's an exceedingly goodlooking alarm clock. Nice color, nice design. The alarm works as it should. (except for that 10 minutes thing)I would buy this again. And I would read the Amazon page, to find the seller's instructions, and put indelible ink by the knobs, and put transparent tape over that so it doesn't rub off, while setting the clock for the first time. And then it would work flawlessly.
