I’m handyman and do many mechanics jobs also. This 2 layers neck protector is extremely comfortable and useful. It safe my neck from day1, I have started using it.

i havent tried to see if it protects from fire yet but i took a sharp sword and tried to cut it and it did not cut at all so id say very protective against getting your throat slit

A little snug but I have a big neck.

I attempted to cut it with the sharpest knife I have and it held up very well. Just an indentation where the blade travelled. Did NOT penetrate. The knife I used is sharp enough to cut skin with the slightest touch.

I bought this for my boyfriend when he came home with a sunburn after welding one day. Well my mans must have a thicc ass neck because this just about strangled him. The material was fine, stretched over his head (with some effort), but then tried to suck his throat in like a pair of spanx and he couldn't even wear it 10 mins. Good product in theory, but sad we didn't get to use it.

Ya había comprado este protector antes pero de otra marca y el resultado no fue el mejor, en cambio con este protector las cosas fueron como.pletamente distintas. Lo vengo usando dos semana y mantiene la forma y el ajuste, es magnífico porque yo lo usa para practicar senderismo y ayudarme a proteger el cuello de la exposición continua al sol; seguramente comprare otro para alternarlos y no usar siempre el mismo. Se coloca y quita fácilmente y estoy cómodo y fresco, y de paso me protege de algún percance con una rama o cualquier insecto o animal más grande que pudiera atacarme. Lo recomiendo totalmente

Before doing my last big battery weld (forklift battery) I decided to get one of these for the occasional lead explosion (sometimes there is acid residue on a terminal despite how much I try to dry them). The last battery gave me two surprise pops of molten lead flying. This time I got nailed in this collar. It was pointed out to me as I did not feel it. Zero damage to the collar! My new best friend.

I bought this item as a gift for my father who does welding for his job. He has been using it every day since. He is in love with this product and says it is the most useful protective gear as he has tried many other brands in the past and none seemed to do the trick. Very happy with this and definitely recommend
