The pros:The shelf is gorgeous, spacious and definitely changes up a room. It can match with any theme and modernizes any space you put it in. Easy to build (less than 30 min) and pretty sturdy (8/10) even on carpet.Cons:Mine seemed to come with water damaged pieces. Just about most of them. It looks like splotches or residue from liquid/water damage that cannot be wiped off with a wet rag. Also, various edges/corners were scuffed from transportation. The pieces were protected by a cardboard box and a bunch of styrofoam which does get beat up since shipping is not prime so it goes through a bunch of transitions. This causes it to destroy the styrofoam which gets everywhere when you open it and it also causes scuffed edges and corners.***I would recommend but definitely return it if you get some trashed corners or the boards having residue.

I bought one as a test run in my living room to see how it was....assembling it was super easy considering its size. It has pretty decent sturdiness for its price, especially when using the included wall anchors. I LOVED how it looked more than anything; this will add a bit of character to any room versus the traditional style bookshelves. I use mine mostly for a board game collection I have been building up over time and this displays/makes access to them great. I had to buy more of them to fill the wall up because I enjoyed them so much.

Our new bookshelf in our new apartment. I’ve bought quite a few bookshelves over the years in hopes of fitting my ever growing book collection in a nice and neat place. My previous shelf was just getting too small and I bought this one thinking it was only gonna be a bit bigger but it turned out to be way bigger and now houses my 100+ books and still has room for decorations. Sturdier than all my other shelves combined and comes with hooks to nail it to the wall for extra support, definitely a plus

This is an amazing bookcase. As you can tell from the provided image, it holds several of books. As a 5’3” woman, this bookcase took me a little bit less than hour to assemble, but that’s because I’m short, so if you’re a bit taller, it might take you about twenty minutes less. I absolutely adore this bookcase and didn’t come across any issues. Also, the company provided extra screws in case you lose some while screwing.

It's a good bookshelf but must be bolted to the wall because it's very easy to tip over otherwise, also be careful putting it together because of this.Another thing is that if you try to clean it, it'll get wipe marks almost no matter what. Using alcohol and taking your time wiping it thoroughly is the only way to prevent visible streaks, but it gets fingerprint marks super easily anyway. I use it for collectibles and don't touch it anyway so it's fine for me.

Initially, seeing the pieces I was concerned about assembly. I purchased two of these to frame a black desk. They were not hard to assemble, once I organized the pieces the directions were simple and clear.They are sturdy, and can hold a good amount of weight in books. The one thing I would like to note, for stability is that they do tend to lean a bit forward, particularly before you put books on them. There were a few moments I worried they would fall over, until I had them pressed against the wall. Once in place though, with the books and other things on them, they stood straight, and even shaking them, pushing them, etc. They did not fall.Highly recommend these bookshelves.

So, I have high hopes for the bookshelf. It is basically exactly what I was expecting and planning for. At this price you know that you are getting pressboard, and that there may be long-term issues with the performance of the wood. The only assembly snag I ran into was that one of the vertical pieces was not pre-drilled on both ends. There are supposed to be pre-drilled holes for both dowels (plastic) and for the screws that hold everything together. I purchased two of these book cases, and the first was fine, but the second one had one vertical piece that was only drilled on one end. Of course, it was the last set of vertical pieces I grabbed to get the top shelf up. I didn't bother returning the unit, or complaining, I just drilled pilot holes for the screws myself and went without the dowels. This being pressboard, it didn't seem like all the screws got a solid bight, but both units seem pretty sturdy. We'll see in time if there are any issues.

Very nice bookshelf, fits all of my books perfectly! When I have all of my books on it I get a bit worried that they're all too heavy for it but so far it's been doing a great job! A little wobbly when not attached to the wall though, I plan to attach it but I've never anchored anything to a wall and there weren't clear instructions on how to do that in the instructions manual so that hasn't been done yet. Thats my only con!
