It's capacity is appealing, but do you really think it's worth $1,000?? Convince me, please. I love to buy one, but the price tag is staggering.

There is a smaller Barka or something version for $150-200. The price is actually funny. You can likely have a metal shop build you a custom one for less with thicker material and custom strap bolt points. Besides, I would surely make the receiving door on the back, not the front...Which for me makes this pointless.

What would be the best replacement locks for this unit? one of mine is stuck and i drill it out

Have Owned the dvault since Oct 2020. We initially had similar issue with one of our locks sticking also. We used wd40 and worked the key in & out plus rotated it clockwise and counter-clockwise. Havent had any issues since. That said, we plan to replace the lock cylinders with Barrel locks for greater security. Barrel lock resemble those on soda machines. Take your existing cylinder to a locksmith and they can get you the correct size. Hope this help.

Can this just be bolted down and not enclosed in a structure? Does it come with the little red flag?

We bought ours back in 2007. Ours came with the flag and we bolted it down to a concrete surface and didn't box it in

It is possible to unbolt/disconnect the package access compartment and rotate it to face the front?

If you go to their website, it states that the package collection access door can be configured to face either front or back, but I'm not sure how you do that. May have to order it one way or the other. Best to check directly with dVault. (719) 955-2698 or sales@dvault.com

The warranty excludes deliberate or accidental damage and does not extend to misuse, finishes, destructive weather conditions, rust, improper installation, or normal wear and tear.
