Q: Does this microsoft laptop case have enough room to fit my surface with its keyboard?

Yes there is plenty of space for a keyboard.

Q: Is the handle of this laptop bag leather? Is it comfortable to carry?

Not leather but nylon with ‘heavy’ handles. It is a well made case and is comfortable for me to carry.

Q: Do the computer compartment'zipper close in one direction or can you zip from either side?

There is one zipper with two sliders. I usually close the zipper by bringing both (right and left) sliders to meet at a point in the middle (somewhere near the handles). However... if you preferred, you could close the bag by bringing EITHER right or left slider all the way around to meet its mate on the other side.

Q: How much does it weigh?

About 1 pound. It is not very heavy
