Dyson V8 Origin+ Cordless Vacuum | Purple

Dyson cordless animal works great! I was questioning weather to buy a cheaper version, but my experience with Dyson products have been very dependable. Before I purchased my first Dyson, I was going through a new vacuum every year. I got so frustrated I finally forked out the money and bought the upright ball by Dyson and that was over 10 years and it’s still going strong. In the long run it actually saved me money. I love the cordless version, it’s my go to for my daily sweeps. I have animals and kids and my hardwood floors pick up a lot of debris. It works on carpet as well. I prefer to use my upright in the carpeted areas when they really need a deep vacuum but this animal will do the job for a quick fluff. My only complaint would be that you have to hold the trigger the whole time while vacuuming, however it’s very light and easy to manage. Recommend it!

This vac is awesome! Light weight, pretty darn quiet, very convenient and well worth the hard earned money. I also purchased the attachments, so far I have only used the small roller attachment on my couch, it works better than my attachment I have for my central vac. (thats right I have a central vac) The cat hair came right off!!! This Dyson is awesome because it is powerful, there are no cords to lug around, and no hoses. Need I say more? Yes! I would buy it again!

I really love this one. It works great for light and quick clean up. I still run my canister vacuum every now and then. Especially on carpet. I wish I would have bought 2.

Updated: 3 years of use. The battery lasts maybe 10 minutes on a full charge. Looking to replace the vacuum entirely. Save your money and buy a different vacuum. Lightweight and easy to use. Sucks up lightweight dust & dirt easily, but not as good as expected with random pieces of dog kibble and rock salt brought into the mud room. Disappointing that little things like that are not sucked up well - especially for a Dyson. Air blows out the sides of the vacuum, which is also kind of annoying when you bend over to move something out of the way, and that air blows in your face. Otherwise, it picks up the usual dirt and debris ok.

So, for all the people who are doing hours of research trying to figure out a vacuum that's as good as the Dyson but not nearly as expensive..... forget it. We've had most of them, high voltage cordless stick vacuums. they all either worked well for a month then lost more then 50% power or, they broke altogether. (and in a very mechanical guy. I can repair most appliances. the Hoover cordless stick vacuum was the worst waste of time ever. I literally threw it, with all attachments, extra battery and charger, right on top of the trash. The only cordless I would recommend is a small dust buster I got with my Milwaukee 12v power tools. it's 12v but lasts about 20mins and had enough suction for small areas. The Dyson? Simply no contest. I used one for 6 months in Cali and just bought another V8 animal. really, all I can say is if you have a serious fur issue with dogs or cats, don't horse around. Get the best Dyson you can afford. btw: read about James Dyson. He truly is a mechanical genius. He actually invented the things that make his vacuum superior. I've heard the comments that he's the 'Steve Jobs' of vacuums and Dyson is a niche product like Apple but it's not true. You want a superior vacuum? Get the Dyson. Ive had 8 different junkers in 12yrs that say otherwise.

Despite being refurbished, so far the vacuum works as well as my new Dyson ball. I love it. They are worth the money.

Its light, its handy and it sucks. I mean that in a good way. It makes cleanup so much more convenient - I don't have to dig out the big upright vacuum which means that the house stays a lot cleaner in between regular cleanings!

this vacuum don't even last for 15mins tops even after being on the charger for more than 24hrs. I just notice I missed my return date. NEVER AGAIN

Like everything, had an old Dyson that caught hairs up in the brush, this one never seems to get jammed up.

It suits our needs.
