These bulbs are worth the extra cost in cases where you need a bit more brightness, especially for high ceilings. We have 9 foot ceilings and I wanted a brighter light above our master shower. This one is perfect and provides the extra light we needed and also produces beautiful. pure color tones. It is noticeably brighter than the 65 watt equivalent LED it replaced and for the space and with the ceiling height it is the perfect amount of light.I am completely satisfied with this purchase and hope that the bulb will last a long time, as LEDs typically do. If it fails I will update my review accordingly. CREE makes very good quality LEDs, so I'm fairly confident that it will last.

I am generally willing to pay a little more for Cree LED bulbs, because of their strong 10-year warranty and seemingly high quality. I purchased 4 Cree LED warm-white flood light bulbs to replace old incandescent bulbs. The LED bulbs are much more efficient, and run cool. The Cree bulbs have a very nice even illumination, rather than the "single light spot" look of my old bulbs. I use them with a dimmer switch and they dim evenly and do not buzz or flicker. Cree bulbs are the real deal.

60 w daylight fluorescent lamps were not bright enough in our 10 ft ceiling can lights in the kitchen. These LED floods fit in the can fixture and provide about twice the lumens of the 60w fluorescents we were using. We only use daylight lamps, these look great. I didn’t want to install hanging fixtures to get enough light to work in the kitchen. These lamps were well worth the price. They were delivered in two days. Amazon is my first stop for light bulbs.

If you are picky about accurate colors indoors (no soft white here), these are the bulbs for you. The score very well on the CRI scale. I would describe the color as neutral sunlight. These dim perfectly with my Lutron Caseta dimmers. A single 100 watt equivalent may be too bright for a small bedroom.

I have purchased 6 of these Cree LED 100 watt equivalent bulbs. They are bright, however, the first three bulbs I purchased all stopped working in less than one year and less than 2,000 hours of use - nowhere near the "up to 25,000 hours" they state on the Amazon site. The other newer bulbs are currently working. They are expensive bulbs to be replacing once a year.

We bought about ten bulbs, and they are consistently only lasting about six months. Thats not what is advertised.
