It was a perfect fit for my late 2013 model 27" imac; very easy to install and secures the screen well.

I recently had to upgrade the hard drive in my iMac and of course, had to take off the screen and needed these adhesive strips. They seem to work perfectly, but I did have to trim one of them down because they are off just a little bit. But not so much that it made a big deal or a big difference. It would be nice if they were a little more helpful with telling you where to put each one of them they kind of just say starting in the left with one and work your way around, but they don’t really lineup completely. Either way they’re a great value for money and they did the job.

This is the second time I needed to reseal a 27" iMac, and was pleased to see this kit available for order. If you are patient, take some care, and have a steady hand, you can reseal the display yourself after opening up your computer. The kit comes with the needed adhesive strips, a cutter to remove the display from the old adhesive, and pretty much nothing else. This is where my gripe is... at the very least, include a set of instructions or a strip of paper with a URL to a set of instructions. (If you are here looking for instructions, the iFixit website has them). With instructions, the kit is pretty straightforward to install. The only other issue I had was some of the peel-off backing for the adhesive strips were not cut well enough and it made them difficult to remove. This was on only one of the strips, where the tabs would peel off instead of the backing they were supposed to remove. It made it slightly more challenging to adhere that strip, but all went well in the end.

I used this kit when servicing a late 2013 iMac, and it worked perfectly. Opening the computer with the provided pizza wheel tool was easy, and once all the old adhesive was peeled away the new adhesive strips included in this kit held up and sealed the screen in place perfectly! Two thumbs up!

Sono perfetti per il mio iMac visto che li ho usati per fare un upgrade dal hardisk al ssd. L’unico difetto è che alcuni erano difettosi quindi ho riscontrato alcune complicanze; però per il resto top!

きれいに形状に応じカッティングされていて使いやすいです。このような製品の中には施工後モニター部分が脱落したという怖いレビューもあるようですが、念のため黒いマスキングテープ でしばらく本体とモニターの接合部を補強しておけば私の場合は大丈夫でした。ちなみにマスキングテープ はさほど目立たないのでそのまま剥がしてないです。

I bought these to redo a previous job on my 2019 iMax 27" Retina 5K displays. This is the updated kit that has the notch for the mic on the bottom edge. That's where my problem was.....last time I sealed them up, I had no mic audio as the tiny hole was covered up. After carefully removing the display and using this kit, making sure the mic hole was open, I re-sealed the display using this kit, and all is working 100% now. The adhesive seems to be hanging in there well too. Anyone who has ever had theirs fail knows what happens. That gets to be an expensive day! I'd order these again!
