Found the right needle for the job!
Wanted to make the above cover for our patio set and when the fabric store down the road was out of upholstery needles I naturally looked here. Along with upholstery level thread these needles did a fabulous job punching through waterproof outdoor fabric. The one I used held up through the whole process without threatening to break. Now while I wouldn’t recommend them for a heavier material like leather, as long as you’re using them with the fabric type they were designed for, they’ll do a great job!

Stong enough for my upholstery project. For some reason, the package was all apart when I received it. Top was off plastic holder and cardboard back wasn' t attached. Didn't think all that could happen going through the mail system.

I'm using these with upholstery thread in a standard sewing machine. The needles pierce four layers of belt/collar webbing with ease. I'd definitely buy again.
