A good functional alternative to OEM
Fits my E2 black well, the most important point. Quality seems good. OEM is heavier and I suspect the filter itself is more dense in its construction, material. The casing is a bit thinner but still feels sturdy and it appears to seat correctly. A good functional alternative, as hoped.I am going to rinse my OEM to reuse, will probably not with these. That these are so much cheaper allows for more frequent changes. Being more mindful about running your Rainbow with a clean filter will help your machine and cleaning more than any difference in filter quality, IMO.See pics for side by side comparison views. Note the OEM filter is dirty and used when you consider the weights.

Change your filter people!
Fits E2 Black. Write the date on them with a white paint pen when you install them. Replace every 5 years. Or any time you have to vacuum up ashes or sheet rock dust. Any powder that won't get wet will go through the water and clog the hepa filter. Use a shop vac for that crap. If your not sure if you need to replace, take the old one out and run it with out the filter. If you get improved suck and airflow, then your old filter is clogged. Rainbows are awesome!

Great replacement filters for rainbow vacuum. Easy to install and just like the factory filters.

They’re alright
Washed them one time and they became mush. And yes, I did dry them using the rainbow properly. Thought it was fine, and that it still worked until a few days ago when I used it to blow dry some equipment off. Chunks of hepa came flying out of the house. Took it apart and the mush I saw weeks ago after cleaning it had broken down. Be careful with these. They are cheaper then going directly to rainbow, but these seem like a one time use filter.
