Pretty good (not a paid review)
So I've been doing a lot of research on this stuff and trying to figure out what would be the best option... - I knew that I needed something that would just clip over my prescription glasses, because I didn't want to have to put on my contacts to use a product. - A friend recommended blue light glasses for general sleep hygiene, which may in turn help with my ADHD symptoms. While I can't speak on that just yet, I will set a reminder to update this review in a week so that I can assess sleep quality/motivation stuff. If it improves sleep quality, I will update my review. -I also would like to add that this is NOT a paid review, which I've been super wary of when it comes to Amazon reviews. I am hesitant to trust rave/ "BUY THIS NOW!!!" type reviews. I decided to write a review so that people like me might have an easier decision process when it comes to newer products that might be considered snake oil. PROS: -Definitely block out blue light. I am wearing the amber lenses. While outside, I accidentally put regular garbage into my blue recycling bin instead of the black one. -Easy spring mechanism to clip on. I don't need a flip-up, and I read that they didn't add it to minimize weight. I don't know how much it would add to the weight, but the clip-ons are definitely light enough for my needs. -Noticeably ease eye strain. I didn't realize how much direct sunlight caused eyestrain, but it definitely made a difference outside (no squinting, less need for my eyes to adjust). -Satisfactory build quality. I haven't compared them other glasses, but these definitely do not feel like I was scammed/cheap-ed out on. -Comes with a microfiber(?) carrying case. CONS: -The glasses are very slightly asymmetrical in assembly on the spring mechanism, which doesn't affect the functionality of the glasses. If the company is not a huge manufacturer (which I've read they are not), I can forgive this. -I did notice there was a slight bit of glare reflected when faced away from the sun. -There's not much pizzazz with the box it comes in, nor any special offers/marketing material, but I guess it's a pretty utilitarian purchase. CONCLUSION: While these are higher in price than other products, I think the overall blue-blocking is very effective. The build quality is good, but not 100% perfect. The design is simple, and it covers my larger-frame high bridge lenses quite well-- probably about 1/4 of an inch is not covered on my lenses. I also like the retro look, but this is just personal preference. Won't make any recommendations for anyone else, but I'll say I don't regret the purchase. EDIT 7/29/21: So I've been using them for a little bit now, and I can say that I like them a lot. They seemed to have a pretty good effect on making me able to sleep faster -- I could be on my phone in bed and still feel the need to sleep. It's difficult to say on whether the overall quality of my sleep is better, but I think the ability to fall asleep easier is worth it to me. They are well made and worth the cost, IMO.

Yes, quality.
I really do think these help with night time reading your phone in bed, to lessen the blue light waking up your brain! Clip ons are great for those using prescription or standard reading glasses. Would buy again and have suggested them many times to friends for the same reason. Quality is very good and they do no harm to your glasses.

Great for Reducing Eye Fatigue — Stays Secure All Day
I love these Spectra479 Clip-On Blue Light Blocking Lenses. I recently had cataract surgery, and my doctor emphasized how important blue light protection is during recovery, especially with screen use. These clip on securely to my glasses and don’t shift around, which makes them easy to wear all day while working. I’ve already noticed a difference — less eye fatigue, less dryness, and I don’t feel as exhausted at the end of my workday. That alone makes them worth it for me. They’re comfortable enough that I plan to keep using them even after I’m fully healed. The only small thing to note is lens height. My glasses are on the larger side, and these lenses are slightly shorter, so I can’t see as clearly if I look sharply downward. For normal day-to-day use, though, it hasn’t really been an issue. Overall, these have been a great addition and really helpful for reducing screen-related eye strain.

Functional and straightforward, seems to work.
Decent product. Does a good job of filtering blue light, at least as far as I can tell. They clip on and stay on easily enough. Perfectly functional even if they look a little weird on my own pair of prescription glasses.

All pros, no cons and no regrets
For others like myself who refuse to follow the medical recommendation to turn off the TV [or phone] an hour or more before bedtime, these are game changers. I want to watch TV using my prescription lenses, so I specifically wanted a lightweight clip-on solution. The spring-loaded clipping mechanism works fine and should fit over lenses approaching 1/4 inch thick. It's too soon to know, but I hope it will continue to work through many on-off cycles in the coming months and years. Note that these do not 'flip up', which I perceive to be a positive. I didn't want to pay more for that feature; I don't want extra parts adding weight and being something else to break; and intermittently seeing blue at night seems to me to defeat the whole purpose. I just watched a video by a scientist who claims that blue-blocking lenses need not wrap around the side of your eyes. Blue rays in your peripheral vision are an almost insignificant part of the nighttime problem. He alleges most of the receptors of interest are located in or near the retina. I conclude the clip-on solution is sufficiently effective for my purposes. These lenses appear to be made from the amber-colored material. I see no evidence that these are clear lenses with a cheap colored coating as I've heard is the case for other similar products. It's too soon to tell if these have any scratch-resistance, and I probably wouldn't have wanted to pay extra for such a feature, but I intend to handle them carefully and then faithfully store them in the nice case they arrived in. Somebody somewhere is going to complain that blue-blocking makes things "look weird". So does taking Sildenafil where everything looks blue. So does scuba diving where the reds become undetectable. It's not a matter of clarity - the lenses seem flawless - it's what the world looks like without [the majority of] blue color. The benefits are worth the effort to adapt to things looking this way for an hour or so at the end of each day. I didn't want to invest a bunch of time right now researching the science behind this - I just wanted to block a huge part of the blue light spectrum and see if I could improve what my sport watch has been telling me is 'poor' sleep. The results from the first night were promising, but I knew it was entirely possible that other factors could be responsible. Several weeks' sleep reinforced the first night's findings - these lenses definitely improve what my watch detects for sleep quality, and there's no question that I fall asleep almost immediately now. This is a well-made product that performs exactly as needed, purchased hassle-free, and delivered promptly. I think the value of improved sleep for this price is exceptional. I would highly recommend Spectra479 lenses in any form factor from Zendustries.

Should have tried them years ago!
Both types of lenses are now part of my day. The two lightweight but strong lenses do a superb job! The clips that fit over bridge of glasses are strong but flexible, will not slip off and easily cover my small glasses. (see photo) For the glare of computer screen (which I use much of the day), the Blue Reducing light yellow lens takes effect immediately. I was quite surprised at the dramatic end to sharp stinging eye pain I usually experience. And, I can do so without dimming the screen! The Night Time clip-on lenses to wear two hours before going to bed helped me to wind down my day, and I could actually feel ready to fall asleep in that time. Without them, I tend to stay up too late and find it hard to get to sleep. The lenses each come in light but sturdy protective containers to fit securely and snap closed. Both drop into soft bags to hang on nearby walls in office and bedroom. However, I keep my computer clip-on in place, ready to go. What a difference in taking best care of my eyes as I head into macular degeneration and need to take even better care of my eye health! Great value - only wish I had started using them years ago. Thank you to the Spectra479 vendors for offering such fine quality.

Quality, easy to use solution to blue light blues - fragmented sleep
I decided I really needed to get serious about sleep. I had been falling to sleep OK but waking up 30 to 50 minutes later; sometimes repeating this a second time before I would settle into longer sleep segments. I had been focusing on things like caffeine and getting a better pre-sleep routine then it occurred to me: I have a bedtime routine alright but the routine revolves around my laptop, iPad or iPhone reading digital news, catching up on sports scores, reading a digital novel, that sort of thing. I was completely overlooking the blue light issues that accompany computers. I waded into Amazon and settled on these clip on glasses, handled by Spectra479 Biorhythm Safe Lighting. I had never heard of product nor company. They were both superb. I got them quickly. The clip on system was easy to attach, firm and fit well. They came in a well designed plastic case and the shipment also included a soft smooth bag to protect them outside the case. I leave them attached to glasses I wear late evening. I can easily shift from reading my iPad to brushing my teeth using these glasses. I quickly note that things that should be yellow are clear when wearing glasses. This is a non issue for 99% of things I do during that last hour or so before I turn out the lights. The science behind the "blue light" is another matter. I am just telling you this product has earmarks of quality construction and thoughtful customer service. There are very inexpensive. Get them

It helps people who use computers a lot and do not have blue blockers in their lenses.
My optician told me that since I wear transition glasses there is a blue blocker in there and it wouldn't be wise to get these as it can affect my transition lenses so. It could help other people am sure but not me. Glad I inquired but the customer service in returning this item was awful - no live person is not good for customer service - online talking is not good. Get more help.
