I have purchased both this receiver and the B06 Plus. Both are very nice and simple to use. I am connecting to a high-quality audio system and speakers through an Android phone. The Ultra has noticeably better audio quality and uses a better DAC than the plus, though it is not the absolute top of the line. It has the added bonus that you can connect using the LDAC codec, which offers the highest quality Bluetooth streaming available. If you are streaming Hi-Res music this is the way to go. Unfortunately, this not available on Apple devices, where you are stuck with AAC. In that case you might go with the B06 plus. This one also seems to have a longer range, for me well over 30 feet through walls in the house.

I have this hooked up in my garage. I use it when I’m doing work outside or hanging out in the yard. It works very well. The range is pretty good

Easy setup. Easy Bluetooth connection. Good sound quality. Once connected will automatically reconnect preventing other Bluetooth connections unless ignore this device selected. A little annoying.

I've been using the lesser expensive and very popular Logitech Bluetooth adapter for years but wondered if the signal quality would be noticeably improved with this one. After using it for a few months I can say without reservation the sound is considerably better, it almost sounds as good as a direct-connected wire. The most common connection I've used is AAC with various iPhone versions but we've also used several Android models as well and have noticed an improvement. The environment is a large out building with four large floor-standing JBL home speakers and a high end, THX certified Yamaha receiver. I kept upgrading the speakers and stereo thinking it would achieve the sound quality I was trying to get. It wasn't until adding this receiver that I stopped the upgrade process because the sound quality was significantly better. Range is also greatly improved.I'm not an Audiophile yet I have a higher standard for music audio quality

Works good. Sound quality is good. Kind of disappointed that the LED ring isn’t actually purple as it shows in the picture, only red or blue.
