I have used it as a CD player and it's great!

Does not accommodate all TVs
after purchasing two of these items, it just went from bad to worse. Apparently it only works in certain TV, if it works it will be black and white. I wish I could just get my money back. They need it'll tell people this device does not work on all TVs. I still haven't gotten my label to return it so if anyone would like to buy it from me let me know.

DEFECTIVE
The video does not work (only audio). Some of the led buttons on the dvd display were out. Why wouldn’t these critical items be tested prior to shipping? I would give a zero rating but it does not accept.
