Bluelab has multiple products I have purchased nevertheless great products but what I admired the most is when I called customer service. Her name was Gina she attended me like I never heard any company representative talk to me, fixed my problem instantly no troubles. Got to say Bluelab is a company with reliable tools and customer service. Recommended to anyone who wants to purchase their products.

Does not look new. Received in questionable condition. I have not tried the product, but certainly does not look like original packaging. With an instrument like this, it is important to know that you are receiving a new, unused product, and receiving it in this condition does not give me the confidence in the accuracy or reliability. Very disappointed that I will have to return because I am not confident in the condition of the product I received. I will purchase elsewhere.

Pros; Cost effective, VERY mobile, fast readings and easy to setup.READ THE INSTRUCTIONSCons; doesn't perform at it's best without "learning/programming" the medium you're using the meter with.While not the end of the world, and not meant to be on the device... a small LCD screen on the meter would be great as opposed to needing to pair with a phone OR perhaps add an option for USB/Computer for data storage and charting.

Forget testing runoff this is what you need to know the actual EC & Moisture values of your roots. BlueLabs never fails to satisfy.

Works as advertised

As someone trained in horticulture I can say that many of the poor reviews are likely due to lack of education. This product is easy to use, works well, and gives consistent readings. I cannot speak to the nature of the seller.1. Calibration - Calibration is necessary for an accurate reading with any meter. Even factory calibrated meters need to be recalibrated regularly. If you cannot properly follow instructions and calibrate a meter you will never find a meter that consistently works well.2. Different readings than slurry method - It is a well known fact that different methods of measuring soil EC will provide different results. The measurements cannot be used interchangeably. You have to first understand the relationship of your previous way of measuring to your new way of measuring and use that to develop a new EC scale to work with. It also depends on proper calibration to your media at different stages of growth. Don't calibrate an empty pot and expect to get accurate readings on a pot with a full root system! Don't calibrate in one media and expect to get accurate results in another media. This is all explained in the device documentation.
