Hunter Sprinkler I2004 I-20 Plastic Gear Driven Pop-Up Sprinkler, 4-Inch

I purchased these to replace some older Rainbird rotors (R50s). These have a nice spray pattern that covers the nearby turf just as well as the distant turf area. The old RB rotors were loud and spun too fast. The old rotors did not have check valves so the water always drained at the end of the cycle. This wasted water and took longer to start up because the line had to fill up with water every time the system came on.Features I like:- many nozzle options- Flostop- slow rotor speed- quiet operation- check valve (saves some water and faster startup time)- easy setup and adjustementsThe Flostop is king. I really like this feature, which helps with nozzle changes, maintenance, system testing. Adjusting the rotors are easy and straight forward, so be sure to purchase the Hunter rotor tool for easiest adjustment. The I20 comes with many nozzle options (1-8 gpm) to choose from, including low angled nozzles and short radius nozzles, which may interest some.One word of caution. Be sure to lower the screw to keep the nozzle in place or it will fly out the rotor and you may never find it again. I forgot on one of them and it flew out into the yard. This resulted in very low pressure and none of the heads popped up and I couldn't figure out the problem until I went to check each head and that's when I discovered I forgot to secure the nozzle with that screw.I've used these rotors for nearly 2 years now, so I would and have recommended this product to others.

I run many of these Hunter I20 4" popup sprinklers. They come with a bag of spray heads that you need to choose and install for your specific application. They also have a stainless steel shaft version of this sprinker, but I haven't used those. They cost a few dollars more. All the adjustments are right on the top, including a shutoff feature where you can turn off individual heads if needed.

I have ordered this product before. Everything you need is included and it is simple enough for any DIYer to install. Nice product!

Installed the I20 with check valve so water wouldn't drain out. Works great. However, I turned on the sprinkler and it was just "vomiting" water. Turns out, there is no nozzle in it. Disappointed!

Have purchased this item before. Love the I-20’s. Always try to keep a few on hand for replacement. Next order I am going to try the stainless steel ones to see if there is a difference.

Top of the line item. Would use nothing else, worry free item.

Super easy to swap out a busted head. Just do a little digging around the old one, unthread it by hand, then thread in new one (no thread sealer needed). Backfill dirt. Then spend 5-10 minutes messing with the start point, sweep angle, and the spray pattern.
