Question 1

Would these fit over a large glass bowl? I hate using saran wrap or wet towels to cover my dough for rising pat. Also better for environment reusable.

I am a Chef, and I use these over bowls, plates, dough rising containers (spray the inside with aerosol baking spray for nonstick), picnic items, leftovers, mis en place trays, and virtually everything for which I used to use plastic wrap.  They fit round, square, & rectangular pans, hotel pans, and every odd shaped container I have tried.  It is one of the most convenient tips I can give anyone for working in the kitchen.

They also work great for covering a camera to keep it dry, either on or off a tripod, when it is raining or misting (lift the front off of the lens when taking a shot, put it back over it until the next shot)

They work well for covering plants and pots to increase humidity, light fixtures when painting, and hundreds of other uses.  Stick a few in your car for when you have to jump start a battery or do something else in the rain and you don't want your head soaked, or grab greasy parts or use a gas can to protect your hands from the grease/stink if you don't have gloves. Carry a few for doggie doo-doo pickup.

Buy the 100 pack (why it's $6.97, and the 30-pack is $26.68, I'll never be able to figure out), you'll find uses for them.

Question 2

Would these work well to keep my hair dry in the shower?

I use them for an entirely different purpose... keeping my hair moist! I do notice however that the elastic holds well to my head and does not move out of place the entire time that I have it on (which happens to be the entire time. It seems impermeable but of course is flimsy, so shower seems fine, just be gentle.

Question 3

Is this extra-lg in terms of hair or head? I am regular size showercap but need larger for hair.

I made a comment about this in my review. I have a small head but I have thick, very long hair that I put up in a hair stick before putting this cap on. it fits just fine.

Question 4

Could i sleep in it without it falling off? ( i move a lot in my sleep)

I don't think you can rely on it for more than the first hour or two of sleep.  However it may depend on hair length and thickness.I hope this helps.  I have fallen asleep with the cap on, and  I had to readjust the cap because it had shifted.
