It is good but coloring is necessary to easily identify the different stages.

Badly made, inaccurate, useless product
The item delivered was not a hydrometer. Instead it was a Alcoholmeter. The alcoholmeter was incorrectly made with reading scale placed upside down and hence incorrectly calibrated. Very poor quality control of the product and absolutely useless item.On the positive side, the item was well packaged.
