B1845 Durant Chiming Clock, Walnut

Buy it. For the money, it’s beautiful. As we’ve only had it for two months, so far it's working very well. Time retention and sound quality are excellent and no problems with the rotating pendulum, yet.

The clock was beautiful. All parts worked fine, the color. It was really nice and it arrived on time.

Purchased this clock to replace an older anniversary clock that stopped working. That one was the classic 13" high glass-dome type which unfortunately is not made any more. This clock had the size I was looking for and looked nice in the pictures so I ordered it. It's absolutely beautiful. So much so it's now sitting on our mantle as opposed to the book shelf I was going to put it on. The case is real wood and although the clock is plastic, as an entire unit, the overall effect is class-plus! And the chime is pitch perfect. Electronic chimes have come a long way in 20 years. Couldn't be more pleased. As a heads-up, you will also need 2 "C" batteries in addition to the 2 "AA" batteries mentioned on the Amazon site.

My wife and I love this clock. The looks and its beautiful sound makes our living room peaceful and full of joy. Recommended to anyone looking for a Christmas gift.

This is a beautiful clock. I love the style. But you'd think when I pay nearly $100 for a clock that they would use real crystals instead of plastic, which was disappointing as I love crystals and it was one of the reasons I chose this one. And all the "gold" is beautiful but just plastic. Really, Bulova? I was afraid when setting the clock that I might break something. But I didn't. Putting the batteries in was a little confusing as it seemed to indicate an order to do this, but there were no diagrams except for the functions at the bottom. I did get it figured out eventually. But the chimes are delightful, and the volume control is helpful. I like the choice of melodies. The pendulum movement is sweet. It looks really lovely, except for the fake crystals.

Works great, keeps time. My only complaint is for us dumb old 86 year olds they did not get me info on how to adjust the chime to the time (finally, one response did; instructions told me, had 3 buttons to adjust different things, but I could not find the buttons!)

This is a nice mantle clock. The interior parts are plastic, which is why I took a star off craftsmanship. It is still beautiful nonetheless. The hourly chimes are great and there are 3 options, including the classic Westminster. Overall a good buy - but if you can find one that has been returned, thats probably the way to go.

Chose this clock to add to my bookcase shelf. It looks beautiful. It was very easy to set up and get running. The chimes are amazing. If I could choose one added feature it would be to add the option of having a small led light on the inside to come on at dusk and go off at dawn. That would be a wonderful way to accent the crystals at night.
