Guzzini 168602165 Clocks, Ochre, One size

Bought this for my 5 year old son’s bedroom and could not speak more highly. Amazing how it only will cuckoo if the room is light, second he goes to bed it will not cuckoo, great feature. The sound is lovely when it does go off (every hour), my son races to see the little bird pop out. It does tick like a normal clock would but very quietly so works fine in a bedroom. Highly recommended if looking for a cuckoo clock for kids!

It's a fun clock with heavy plastic but is strong and very well-made Looks great, I got yellow, cuckoo works and even opens wings before the cuckoo sound, there are birds sounds

Great design, looks like good quality and makes us laugh. Plus, when there is no lights on, it stops coocooing by itself! What is not too like?

First one was broken, winding hand was not in place correctly. Husband managed to fix it . It could not be set correctly then cuckood at the wrong time. Gave it a few chances but did not work correctly. A replacement was sent it works better but still loses time and rarely cuckoos the correct amount of times . It’s a lovely quirky clock, they just need to improve mechanism.

Our hosts in Nevis in the Caribbean had this charming clock and have been looking since then for it. It has a unique double cuckoo’s call which I’ve never heard before, and at a reduced price, easy to assemble and in a lovely red, perfect !!

Love the clock didn't have pendulum but decided better with out it as it is quite noisy

Quality product , superb build and finish- clock only goes off when it light so great for the little boys bedroom (he wanted a yellow cuckoo clock From Father Christmas !

I would have loved to give this clock 5 stars. It keeps good time, looks neat and when the bird comes out on the hour, it makes me smile. But, and it's a bit of a niggle, the pendulum gets a bit overexcited from time to time - it's not a "real" pendulum, it doesn't help keep the time, it's just a motorised gimmick - the problem is that as it swings and then retracts the disk at the bottom over swings and knocks, resulting, at times, in a bit of an annoying "click click click" sound. Yes, I know clocks "tic toc", but this isn't that. It's a design fault and one I would have hoped they might resolve one day. It's not so significant an issue that I would consider returning the clock, but had I known, I might have taken longer to consider this purchase. It might even have disuaded me from it. But if you live in a busy household with background noise, you probably won't even notice it.

Overall, I love the product and service from Amazon. The design is simple and elegant. The greatest feature to me is the light sensor, where the cuckoo will not activate when it is dark. I could not find this feature on any other cuckoo clock on the market. There are mutiple colours to choose from, so you are sure to find one that matches your home decor. I did encounter some issues. The first order got stolen some where along the delivery process. A dodgy courier had removed the label from my package, and stuck it to someone else's package. I got delivered women's clothings instead. Not Amazon's fault. I basically lodged a free return to Amazon for deivery of wrong item. As soon as the return package was scanned and picked up by the AusPost, Amazon issued the refund immediately. I reordered and got the item eventually. The 2nd order was received in good time, considering it came from Germany, and delivery to Australia. However, the cuckoo bird was not chiming. I was obviously disappointed and was going to return the clock. But I decided to troubleshoot and found what the issue was after many attempts to fault find. One of the plugs for the cables was not properly connected. Pushing it in securely had the cuckoo come alife. Hooray! I suppose the long transit and bumping around had caused one of the plugs to come loose. Despite the issues, I love the clock. It was also alot better price buying from Amazon, than a local retailer for the same item.

Funny clock, especially for kids, they adore it, but after a few weeks you get really tired of this hourly sound! You can put it lower or out, I had to put it out....

I absolutely love this cuckoo clock! The Italian design fits perfectly in my kitchen, and the little bird is just as cute as I expected. I also appreciate the light sensor, which keeps the bird quiet at night.
