Installed these on my 2017 Ram 1500. All parts and hardware were included in packaging. Even had a few extra pieces that weren’t needed as the 2017 Ram has some pre-bolted holes already. The only tools needed were a ratchet set with 19mm, 17mm and a 13mm socket. Can easily be installed with one person. The most difficult part of install was removing the body bolt. That sucker was in pretty tight. Overall the instructions were pretty easy to follow and even included some useful photos. Total install time was about an hour and a half (1 hour for first side and 30 min for second side). Product is pretty sturdy when installed. Doesn’t flex at all when standing on it. It sticks out about 2” from side of truck. Product was textured just like the spray in bed liner I have. Overall, pretty solid product and would recommend to others.

All you have to do is make sure you order the right ones for your vehicle. You will be amazed at the ease of installation, the looks, the stability and or course the price. As usual Amazon hit it on the head using a company likeTAC to sell on their site. Little issue at first, I was charged a restocking fee because the first ones were a different stock number but finally got the right ones. Will take up the restocking fee later and am sure it will be resolved as Amazon always tries to please their customers.

The instructions can be confusing, but once you understand what you're doing then it starts to make sense. These come with an extra support brace which I did not use. So far it hasn't been needed but I held onto it just incase. They look good and work great.

Purchased for 2018 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Outdoorsman - I've purchased this brand before and I love the look, quality, and good price. However, I only gave 4 stars because of the awful instructions and the fact that the hardware (mainly bolts, washers, etc.) are not labeled. The instructions include a parts list, but none of the parts are labeled, making it difficult to sort out what's what. I had to sort through the pieces and group them together based on their size compared to the other parts. The instructions can be confusing. I had to use a different group of parts due to the year of my truck. The instructions only list the mid-year 2015 Ram as the model that uses the other set of parts, but my 2018 Ram required these parts as well. Additionally, it is not clear in the instructions that the "bolt plate and nut" are not used when using the other set of parts. Lots of trial and error. But after getting one running board on the other side went a lot quicker. I would definitely purchase again even though the instructions are a headache.

I LOVE the way these nerf bars look. I like the way the tube style installs on the truck also. You don't see brackets hanging down. This is the second time I've installed the 3" tube style on a Ram truck. Other truck was DeeZee brand. I really dig the texture finish. Looks great.But.Hardware troubles beware! I had a big bag of goodies, but not enough of the right ones. I did not have enough flat washers, lock washers, and nuts for the big bolt plates that have the extra nut welded on. That necessitated trip to the hardware mid-install. Not cool. Then I discovered one of the nuts welded onto one of the bolt plates had NO threads! It was just bare metal in there! Luckily, I have a tap and die set with the correct thread size so I tapped the nut and went about my install. Not everyone has a tap and die set and shouldn't be expected to have to do this!I dunno, I think they are a fabulous looking set of nerf bars and I'm very happy with them. But the install took some work...I give the bars 5 stars but the hardware kit a 2. I'll sit in the middle with 3. They are very affordable and look great, but the company needs to do better QC on their hardware kits. Just know what you could be getting into with purchasing this item.

So I was a bit skeptical about these due to their price; fairly inexpensive compared to others. But they look great and were fairly easy to install. Instructions were better than most as they did have pictures; but they could make the verbage make a bit more sense. Also the wrap them in different color bubble wrap in an attempt to separate driver from passenger side. But unfortunately they did not idenify which color was for which side. I had to look at the pictures and attempt to match them until i got it right. But aside from that, good product, very sturdy and rugged look.
